शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Trainee Pilot: Must hold a Certificate of Competency as Master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Govt. of India.

Deputy Secretary: (I) A degree from a recognized University. (ii) Nine years अनुभव in executive cadre in the field of General Administration, personnel, Industrial Relations etc. in an Industrial/ Commercial/Govt. Undertaking.

Accounts Officer: Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

Assistant Executive Engineer: Degree or equivalent in Electrical/ Electronics & Communications Engineering from a recognised university/ institution. Desirable: Two years अनुभव in relevant discipline in executive cadre in an Industrial/ commercial/Govt. Undertaking.

Assistant Material Manager: Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.

Law Officer:
1) Degree in Law.
2) Not less than 5 years अनुभव in Department of State / Central Govt. / or a Major Port / Public Sector Undertakings or अनुभव at Bar Council.

Assistant Cost Accounts Officer:
1) Degree of recognized University.
2) Pass in Final Examination of Chartered Accountants of India/Institute of Cost Accountant of India.

Assistant Engineer: Degree in Electrical / Electronics & Communications / Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.

सैलरी कितनी मिलेगी:
INR
40000-180000/- Per Month

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 40 Years.

वर्ष 1888 में मुरगांव पत्तन के शुरूआती दौर में यहां 358 मीटर लंबे ब्रेकवाटर सहित 3 घाट थे। समय के साथ साथ अवसंरचना में शनै शनै वृध्दि होती गई। वर्ष 1922 तक घाट सं. 4 तथा 5 का निर्माण और ब्रेकवाटर को मौजूदा 522.40 मी. लम्बाई तक बढाया गया। 270 मीटर का एक तटबंध भी निर्मित किया गया ।

गोवा में खनिज उद्योग का प्रमुख उद्योग के रूप में आविर्भाव होने के कारण पुर्तगालियों ने एक लौह अयस्क टर्मिनल के रूप में मुरगांव पत्तन के विकास हेतु एक मास्टर प्लान बनाया जिसमें “कई लौह अयस्क निर्यातकर्ताओं द्वारा प्रावधानित तथा वित्तपोषित यांत्रिक अयस्क लदान संयंत्रों से पोषित एक समर्पित घाट की योजना बनाई”। इसके अनुसरण में वर्ष 1959 में मेसर्स चौगुले एण्ड कंपनी प्रा.लि.को घाट सं. 6 पर एशिया का सबसे पहला यांत्रिक अयस्क सम्हलाई संयंत्र जिसकी 1000 ट. प्र. घ. क्षमता थी,स्थापित करने की अनुमति दी गई थी। इस घाट के संयोजन में घाट सं.7 का निर्माण किया गया।दिनांक 19 दिसंबर, 1961 को गोवा की स्वतंत्रता से गोवा इतिहास में एक नए युग की शुरूवात हुई ।
