शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Director: An Eminent Scholar with published work ofhigh quality, actively engaged in research, with I 0 years of अनुभव in Post Graduate teaching' and/or अनुभव in research at University/ National Level Institutions, including अनुभव ofguiding research at Doctoral level. The area ofresearch and teaching shall invariably be both Folk and Classical Theatre, Folk Music, Dance, and Culture of Uttarakhand.

Deputy Director: Good academic record with a Doctoral degree or equivalent published work on the folk dances and music ofuttarakhand or other Himalayan states. In addition to these, candidates who join from outside the University system, shall also possess at least 55% ofthe marks or an equivalent grade ofB inthe 7 Point scale with latter grade O,A,B,C,D,E and F at Master degree level.

Assistant Director: Graduate from the National School ofDrama, New Delhi or Graduate from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune or equivalent qualifications with sufficient अनुभव in play productions, dircction and acting. The candidate with sufiicient अनुभव in folk theatre of Uttarakhand, in addition to these requirements, will be preferred.

Driver:
i) 10th Pass from any recognized Board.
ii) Possession of a Valid Commercial Driving License for Light/Medium, Level Vehicles issued by the Competent authority having no adverse endorsement.
iii) Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).
iv) अनुभव ofdriving motor vehicles for at least 3 years.

Level-14 Per Month

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 57 Years.

हेमवती नंदन बहुगुणा गढ़वाल विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना एक राज्य विश्वविद्यालय के रूप में उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार की अधिसूचना सं. (10)/(865)/15/(75)(85)/64 दिनांक 23 नवंबर, 1973 से हुई। इस विश्वविद्यालय का जन्म पिछली सदी में 70 के दशक में एक प्रभावी लोकप्रिय आन्दोलन से हुआ। यह आन्दोलन गढ़वाल के जनमानस की उच्च शिक्षा के जरिए विकास संबंधी आशाओं और आकांक्षाओ का प्रतीक था। इस दूरस्थ पर्वतीय क्षेत्र के लोगों ने एक छोटे लेकिन ऐतिहासिक, अर्धग्रामीण कस्बे श्रीनगर में विश्वविद्यालय खोलने के लिए आंदोलन किया। यह आंदोलन उनकी भावी पीढि़यों को स्थानिक, आर्थिक एवं सामाजिक पिछड़ेपन, और भौगोलिक एवं पर्यावरणीय रूकावटों पर पार पाने तथा अपनी सांस्कृतिक पहचान के पुनर्समर्थन और स्थानीय प्राकृतिक और मानव संसाधनों के जरिए विकास को हासिल करने में सशक्तिकरण के लिए अभिव्यक्ति था।
