शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): Any Masters Degree, M.Phil/Ph.D

The notification containing Applications Form, Eligibility Criteria, Educational Qualification, Age Limit and Remuneration etc. is available on website www.fridu.edu.in & www.fri.res.in.

1. Name of the Post: कनिष्ठ सलाहकार

2. Number of कनिष्ठ सलाहकारs to be engaged: 01

3. Remuneration: कनिष्ठ सलाहकार: Rs. 50,000/- per month (Fixed) (Taxes etc. Shall be deduced as per prevalent rules of the Govt. of India.)

4. Essential Qualification:

i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in Forestry from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR/ICAR.

iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-classes (i) and (ii) to this Clause II.1, candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET for recruitment and appointment of कनिष्ठ सलाहकार.

5. Desirable Qualification: Significant contribution to Teaching/ Research as supported by published work/ innovations. Candidates must be capable to teach any two or more of these papers at Masters level given below :

i) Soil Science

ii) Silviculture and Silviculture Systems

iii) Forest Ecology and Environment Conservation

iv) Forest Menstruation

v) Forest Policy and Law

vi) Watershed Management

vii) Forest Resource Utilization

viii) People & Forest + Social Forestry

ix) Forest Management

x) Range Management

xi) Natural Resource Management

xii) Forest Biotechnology

6. Duration of the Consultants: The duration of the कनिष्ठ सलाहकार shall be upto the period of one academic session, extendable on the recommendation of the review committee by a maximum period of two academic sessions but one academic session at a time.

The Walk-in-Interview for the post of कनिष्ठ सलाहकार (Forestry) will be held on 22nd March, 2022 from 10.30 A.M. Interested & eligible candidates must submit duly filled application by 12th March, 2022 (5:30 P.M.) alongwith application fee of Rs. 1500/- on e.mail : [email protected]

2. The application fee may be paid in the University A/C No. 30205818545 IFSC Code SBIN0010640, SBI, Soil Conservation, Branch, Dehradun through RTGS/NEFT/Google Pay. Only the eligible candidates shall be informed by E.mail for Walkin-Interview to appear before the Interview Board on 22nd March, 2022 (10:30 A.M. onwards)
