शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
For Fisheries Development Officer: Must possess a minimum qualification of Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) from any recognized University of India.

For Assistant Statistical Officer: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a University in India.

For Assistant Electrical Inspector: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act a State Act a Provincial Act or any Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.

INR
37,640-1,47,760/- Per Month

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 42 Years.

Application Fee:
For all Candidates: Rs. 250/-.

Examination Fee:
For SC, ST, BC, PBDs & Ex-Servicemen: Nil
For All Other Candidates: Rs. 120/-.

Earlier, the commission was known as the Andhra Service Commission (formed in 1953) which is based on the regulations of Madras Public Service Commission. Later in 1956, APPSC was formed by merging the Andhra Public Service Commission and Hyderabad Public Service Commissions.
