चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
Eligible application and interested employees may apply as per the application format at Annexure I. The duly filled Office of along with relevant enclosures should be sent to "The Sr. Personnel Officer (Engineering), and the Principal Chief Personnel Officer, पूर्वी रेलवे, 17, N. S. Road, Kolkata - 700001 in an envelope within 30.06.2025 by 16:00 hours, after which no applications will be accepted.

के बारे में
पूर्व रेलवे का गठन 14 अप्रैल, 1952 को सियालदह, हावड़ा, आसनसोल और दानापुर मंडलों तथा समूचे बंगाल – नागपुर रेलवे को मिलाकर बने ईस्ट इंडियन रेलवे के एकीकरण द्वारा किया गया । बाद में, दक्षिण में हावड़ा से विशाखापट्टनम् तक, मध्य क्षेत्र में हावड़ा से नागपुर तक एवं उत्तर मध्य क्षेत्र में कटनी तक फैले बी एन आर के भाग को पूर्व रेलवे से अलग करके01 अगस्त, 1955 से “दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे” का गठन किया गया। समय गुजरने के साथ नई लाइनों के पुनर्वितरण एवं निर्माण के पश्चात्, 30 सितंबर, 2002 तक पूर्व रेलवे 4245.61 किलोमीटर तक विस्तृत हो गया ।
