पूर्वी रेलवे (ER) Group C, Erstwhile Group-D भर्ती 2023
Advertisement for the post of Group C, Erstwhile Group-D in पूर्वी रेलवे (ER). Candidates are advised to read the details, and eligibility criteria mentioned below for this vacancy. पूर्वी रेलवे (ER) भर्ती Notification & भर्ती application form is available @ er.indianrailways.gov.in/. पूर्वी रेलवे (ER) selection will be done on the basis of test/interview and shortlisted candidates will be appointed at West Bengal. Number of Vacancy: 15 Posts
शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Group-C:
1. Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent Examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate, from govt. recognized Education Board/council/Institution etc. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC, ST, ESM and PWD candidates and candidates having higher qualification from UGC recognized University. OR 10th pass from recognized Board Plus Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT (Diploma in Engineering is not considered as an alternative higher qualification).
2. Scouting/Guiding Qualification as per Para 5.0.
Erstwhile Group-D:
1. 10th pass from government recognized Board OR 10th pass from government recognized Board + ITI/Act Apprenticeship approved by NCVT.
2. Scouting/Guiding Qualification as per Para 5.0.
सैलरी कितनी मिलेगी:
INR
5200-20200/- Per Month
आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 33 Years
Selection Procedure: please refer to official notification.
Application Fee:
i. For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-para (9.ii) below - Rs. 500/- (Rupees five Hundred only) with a provision for refunding Rs. 400/ (Rupees four hundred) to those who actually appear in the written examination.
ii. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, PWD, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes, Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two hundred fifty) only with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the written examination. SC, ST, OBC, Economically Backward Classes and PWD, ESM Discharge certificates must be enclosed as per Annexure attached in the Notification

पूर्वी रेलवे के बारे में
पूर्व रेलवे का गठन 14 अप्रैल, 1952 को सियालदह, हावड़ा, आसनसोल और दानापुर मंडलों तथा समूचे बंगाल – नागपुर रेलवे को मिलाकर बने ईस्ट इंडियन रेलवे के एकीकरण द्वारा किया गया । बाद में, दक्षिण में हावड़ा से विशाखापट्टनम् तक, मध्य क्षेत्र में हावड़ा से नागपुर तक एवं उत्तर मध्य क्षेत्र में कटनी तक फैले बी एन आर के भाग को पूर्व रेलवे से अलग करके01 अगस्त, 1955 से “दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे” का गठन किया गया। समय गुजरने के साथ नई लाइनों के पुनर्वितरण एवं निर्माण के पश्चात्, 30 सितंबर, 2002 तक पूर्व रेलवे 4245.61 किलोमीटर तक विस्तृत हो गया ।
