शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.Phil/Ph.D

Applications are invited for the following temporary position under SERB (DST) funded project titled “Programme for Measurement of Cross Sections of Alpha-induced Nuclear Reactions of Multidisciplinary Interests using the Activation Technique” to be implemented at the Kolkata Centre of UGC-DAE CSR.

1. Position (One): Research Associate – I (RA-I)

2. Fellowship: Rs. 47000/- + HRA (@24%), per month

3. Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in the area of experimental nuclear physics

4. Preferred Qualification: अनुभव in nuclear reaction cross-section measurements and/or gamma-ray spectroscopy

5. The tenure of the position is upto three-years, is coterminous with the project and is subject to the performance of the assigned duties under the auspices of the project.

6. The offer of fellowship does not, under any circumstances, confer on the candidate any right for absorption in UGC-DAE CSR.

Selection Procedure

1. Selection will be on the basis of an interview and the academic background of the candidate. Schedule of the interview shall be communicated to the shortlisted candidates through email.

2.Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies should produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview, if shortlisted for the same.

1. Last date of receiving application is 11th April, 2022.

2. The selected candidate will need to produce all relevant documents (certificates, mark sheets, proof of age etc.), in original, for verification, before joining the position.
