Number of Vacancy: 13 Posts

शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Assistant: (i) analogous posts on regular basis; or (ii) posts in the pay scale of Rs. 4000-6000 with five years regular service in the grade; or (iii) posts in the pay scale of Rs. 3050-4590 with thirteen years or regular service in the grade.

Upper Division Clerk (UDC): (i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis; OR (ii) Lower Division Clerks (LDCs) in the Level-2 (pay scale of 3050-4590) with 8 years of regular service in the grade.

Stenographer Grade-II: Departmental Junior Stenographers in the pay scale of Rs. 4000-6000 with eight years' regular service in the grade and having knowledge in word processing.

Stenographer Grade-III:
(a) Lower Division Clerk in the pay scale of Rs. 3050-4590 with Eight years regular service in the grade; and possessing a speed of 80 w.p.m. in English Shorthand & 30 w.p.m. in English Typewriting.
(b) Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent;
(c) Knowledge in word processing.

सान्ताक्रुज इलेक्ट्रॉनिक एक्सपोर्ट प्रोसेसिंग ज़ोन (सीप्ज़) वर्ष 1973-74 में एक उपज निर्यात संसाधन क्षेत्र के रूप में विशेषतः इलेक्ट्रानिक वस्तुओं के उत्पादन और निर्यात के लिए स्थापित किया गया था। महाराष्ट्र औद्योगिक विकास निगम (एम आई डी सी) अन्धेरी (पूर्व) द्वारा पट्ठे आड़े पर दिए गए 100 एकड़ (जो बाद में बढ़कर 110 एकड़ हो गया) जमीन का टुकड़ा अब सालों बाद मुंबई में एक सीमाचिन्ह बन चुका है। इसका उद्देश भारत में निर्मित इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वस्तुओं के निर्यात (संभवतः वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रौद्योगिकी हस्तांतरण को शामिल करना) को बढ़ाना एवं संसार में बढ़ते हुए इलेक्ट्रानिक बाजार (निर्यात एवं विदेशी विनिमय) से लाभ उठाना था।

रत्न और जेवरात उद्योग की क्षमता और प्रदुषण मुक्त स्वरूप को ध्यान में रखते हुए भारत सरकार ने वर्ष 1987-88 के दौरान सीप्ज़ से रत्न और जेवरात वस्तुओं के उत्पादन और निर्यात को अनुमति देने का विनिश्चय किया, जिसने सीप्ज़ को एक मोहक मोड़ दिया।
