Sub: Inviting nominations for the post of Junior Scientific Officer in Level-7 in the pay matrix (Rs. 44900-142400), General Central Service Group 'B Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, in the SVP National Police Academy, Hyderabad by deputation (including short-term contract)

1. Post Name: Junior Scientific Officer

2. Classification of the Post: General Central Service (group 'B' Gazelled Non-Mlulsletlal.

3. Scale of Pay: Level-7 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.44900-42400/-).

5. Method of भर्ती: By transfer on deputation including short term contract.

6. Eligibility: Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Autonomous or Statutory Organization or Public Sector Undertaking or Universities or Recognised Research Institutes: holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department, or With five years regular service in posts in Level-6 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.35400 112400/-), and (b)possessing the following educational qualifications and अनुभव:

a. Essential: Master Degree in Forensic Science or Physics or Chemistry or Toxicology or Zoology or Botany or Bio-Chemistry or Biology or DNA & Serology from a recognized University. Three years of teaching अनुभव in recognized Academic institutions or training institutions or academies. working knowledge of computers.

B. Desirable: PhD in the relevant subject mentioned above. Two years working अनुभव in Central Forensic Science Laboratory Laboratory or Police training College or Forensic Science department in any recognized University. or State Forensic Science

7. Nature of duty: Taking theory Science, Forensic Toxicology and Forensic Medicine for IPS Probationers. (assisting & practical classes in Forensic in the routine administration and maintaining the Forensic Laboratory in the Academy. Holding demonstration classes of various techniques used in Forensic Science. Looking after the Crime Museum in the Academy. Laying simulated exercises in the Crime Scene Hall. ( Assisting the Assistant Director (Scientific Aids) who is the overall in-charge of the Forensic Science section in the Academy and also Senior Scientific Officer in Forensic Science Section
