शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): MD or PhD or equivalent.

अनुभव (अनुभव):
Scientist-C: Three to Five years of postdoctoral अनुभव plus peer-reviewed high-quality publications both as first, corresponding and co-author in multi-centric studies. Product development scientists with excellent track records in technology development, patents, track record of transferring to industry and commercialization will be preferred.

Scientist-E: Seven years postdoctoral अनुभव or equivalent research अनुभव post PhD, plus peer reviewed high-quality publications both as First and Corresponding Author as well as and as coauthor in multi-centric studies Product development scientists with excellent track records in technology development, patents, track record of transferring to industry and commercialization will be preferred.

Located in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, RGCB began in 1990 amongst humble surroundings as a small charitable society called the Centre for Development of Education, Science and Technology (C-DEST). In 1991, recognizing its potential, the C-DEST was made a “Grant-in-Aid” institute of the Government of Kerala and renamed as Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Development of Education, Science and Technology (RGC-DEST), becoming the first institute in the country to be named after Sri Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minster of India.
