शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Senior Secondary from a recognized Board or its equivalent examination and Computer qualification as specified in the Rajasthan Subordinate Offices Ministerial Service Rules, 1999. "O" or Higher Level certificate course conducted by DOEACC under control of the Department of Electronics, Government of India.

Certificate course on computer concept by NIELIT, New Delhi.

Computer operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/Data Preparation and computer software (DPCS) certificate organized under National/ State council or Vocational Training Scheme.

Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Science / Computer application from a university established by law in India or from an in from an institution recognized by the Government.

Senior Secondary Certificate from a recognized Board of Secondary Education in the Country, with the computer Science/ Computer Application as one of the subjects.

Diploma in computer Science & Engineering from a polytechnic institution recognized by the Government.

Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) conducted by Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota under control of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited.

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 40 Years.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the State Government has established the Rajasthan Subordinate & Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) vide notification No.F.8(7)DOP/A-II/2008 dated 29.01.2014. The role of the Board is essentially that of making recommendations of candidates for direct recruitment in respect of posts carrying grade pay Rs 3600/- and less than Rs. 3600/-

The Board has been incorporated with the purpose of recruiting capable, competent, highly skilled individuals by conducting written tests, professional tests and personal interviews wherever as desired according to relevant recruitment rules.
