Applications are invited for one post of “Hub Administrator” under DST project “Biomedical Instruments and Devices Hub – A Center for innovation, Design and Clinical validation”. The postwill be initially filled up for oneyearbut canbe furtherextended dependingon the performance and administrative work capabilities of the selected candidate.

The “Biomedical instrumentation and Devices Hub – A Center for Innovation, Design and Clinical validation” is operational at PGIMER, Chandigarh, since mid 2018. The HUB has facilities for

(i) Development of innovative devices/instruments through specific projects

(ii) Clinical Validation of indigenously developed device/ instruments and

(iii) Training/teaching activities related to biomedical instrumentation and related innovation, and

(iv) Biomedical Instruments/Device testing/ Calibration.

3. Job Profile of Hub Administrator: - The role of the HUB Administrator is to be the overall managerial in-charge of the Hub under the direction of Hub Coordinators

4. Qualification/Training: - Master’s Degree (or above) in Science Branches OR Master’s Degree in Finance/ Management/HR/Administration.

5. अनुभव:

Significant relevant अनुभव in an administrative or managerial role (at least 5 years) अनुभव with Innovation, Design or Clinical Validation of Biomedical Instruments & Devices. अनुभव of working in a healthcare organization (preferred)

6. Skills/Abilities: Strong administrative and organizational skills. Fully IT literate, including use of Microsoft Office applications. Able to work effectively with minimum supervision and under pressure at times.

7. Knowledge: A working knowledge of confidentiality and data protection legislation

8. वेतन: Fixed @ Rs. 90,000/- per month. (No Additional HRA is admissible) Fixed वेतन may be enhanced @5% p.a depending on performance evaluated after 1 year.

9 Duties & Key Responsibilities:

a. Attending to all day-to-day activities related to administrative work of the “Biomedical Instruments and Devices Hub” at PGIMER, Chandigarh

b. Monitoring of all projects being run under the Hub umbrella and acting as a coordinator between the project issues of Principal Investigators of various projects and the research grant cell activities.

c. Providing timely feedback and reporting for all projects to the Principal Hub Investigators/ Coordinators.

d. Organizing meeting of the Hub Committees at regular time periods to discuss and deliberate Hub activities and issues
