CSIR - North East Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat, a constituent establishment of CSIR, is a multidisciplinary institute having research areas like Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Materials Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Geological Sciences, Advanced Computation and Data Sciences etc. The institute is equipped with sophisticated state-of-art analytical and other equipment to carry out research activities in frontier areas of science & technology. Presently wide-ranging research activities are being carried out in CSIR projects as well as externally funded projects. There is a requirement of Project Staff with the following specialization:

6. Essential Qualification: MSc in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Agriculture and MBA OR BTech in Biotechnology and MBA

a) अनुभव: At least 5 years of अनुभवs in Industries / R&D / Educational Institutes. Prior अनुभवs of technology business incubators / start-ups is must. (Candidate, without any अनुभवs in technology business incubators / startups may not apply)

7. Desirable: PhD in Management/Engineering/Science. Understanding of Government procedures, familiarity with north-eastern ecosystem for business incubators / start-ups.

8. Remuneration: Remuneration: Rs. 70,000/- per month

Selection Procedure

1. The applicants will be subjected to the short listing by the Project Team based on the Academic performances and अनुभवs and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

2. The list of shortlisted candidates along with the Date and Time will be uploaded in the CSIR-NEIST website.
