Subject: Vacancy circular for filling up of the posts of Senior Technical Assistant in राष्ट्रीय वर्षा क्षेत्र प्राधिकरण on deputation (including short term contract)— reg.

i. It is proposed to fill up three posts of Senior Technical Assistant (General Central Service), Group B, Non Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, Level 6 in the Pay Matrix Rs.35400-112400 on deputation (including short term contract) basis in राष्ट्रीय वर्षा क्षेत्र प्राधिकरण, an attached office of Department of Agriculture Cooperation and Farmers Welfare. The discipline of three posts is as under:-

1. Post Name: Senior Technical Assistant

2. Pay Scale: Level 6 in the Pay Matrix Rs.35400-112400

3. Eligibility conditions Deputation (including short-term contract): Officers under the Central or State Government or Union Territory Service or Semi Government or Statutory Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies or Recognised Research Institutions or Council:

a (i) holding analogous posts in the parent cadre or department on regular basis, or

(ii) with six years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Level -5 Rs. 29200-92300 of Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or

(iii) with ten years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Level - 4 Rs. 25500-81100 of Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) (i) possessing the following educational qualification and अनुभव, namely:-

4. Essential:

Graduate in Agriculture Science or Horticulture or Agriculture Engineering or •Civil Engineering or Soil and Water Conservation or Water Resources or Hydrology or Forestry or Wild Life Science or Sociology or Economics from a recognised university;

5. Two years अनुभव in relevant field of post of Senior Technical Assistant.

6. Desirable: Post gladuate degree in concerned subject or discipline of the post.

7. The period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appOintment in the same or some other organisation or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed three years.
