शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Technical Forensic Psychologist:
(i) Masters’ degree in Criminology or Clinical Psychology regular course from a recognised University.
(ii) Three years’ अनुभव in applied Psychology or Criminology / Crime Investigation.

Finger Print Expert:
(i) M.Sc. Degree in any Science Subject or M.Sc. in Forensic Science; or B.Sc. Degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognised University.
(ii) Three years’ अनुभव in a laboratory in development and identification of Finger print.

Explosive Exert:
(i) Master’s degree in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at B. Sc. Level from a recognised university.
(ii) Five years’ अनुभव in examination of explosives and fire arms.

Cyber Forensic Examiner: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Technology or Masters’ degree in Computer Application / Computer Science or Information Technology or Master of Technology in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised University.

Crime Scene Assistant: Master’s Degree in Bio-technology / Analytical chemistry or physics / forensic science from a recognised university

Photographer:
(i) Bachelors’ Degree from a recognised University.
(ii) Diploma holder in photography from a recognised Institute.

सैलरी कितनी मिलेगी:
INR
35400-177500/- Per Month

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 56 Years.

राष्ट्रीय अन्वेषण अभिकरण (अंग्रेज़ी: National Investigation Agency, एनआईए) भारत में आतंकवाद का मुकाबला करने के लिए भारत सरकार द्वारा स्थापित एक संघीय जाँच एजेंसी है। यह केन्द्रीय आतंकवाद विरोधी कानून प्रवर्तन एजेंसी के रूप में कार्य करती है। एजेंसी राज्यों से विशेष अनुमति के बिना राज्यों में आतंक संबंधी अपराधों से निपटने के लिए सशक्त है। एजेंसी 31 दिसम्बर 2008 को भारत की संसद द्वारा पारित अधिनियम राष्ट्रीय जाँच एजेंसी विधेयक 2008 के लागू होने के साथ अस्तित्व में आई थी।

राष्ट्रीय जाँच एजेंसी को 2008 के मुंबई हमले के पश्चात स्थापित किया गया, क्योंकि इस घटना के पश्चात आतंकवाद का मुकाबला करने के लिए एक केंद्रीय एजेंसी की जरूरत महसूस की गई। इसके संस्थापक महानिदेशक राधा विनोद राजू थे जिनका कार्यकाल 31 जनवरी 2010 को समाप्त हुआ। इन के पश्चात यह कार्यभार शरद चंद्र सिन्हा ने संभाला।
