Applications are invited on prescribed format (On-line) for the temporary post of “State Consultant: M&E Knowledge Management – 01(ONE)” for the “Centre of Excellence on PUBLIC HEALTH NUTRITION, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान राउरकेला.

2. Name of the Research Project: CoE-PHN

3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency: UNICEF

4. Tenure of the Project: 4 Years(05.02.2019-04.02.2023)

5. Tenure of the Assignment: 1 Year

6. Job Description:

a. Capacity building on CPMIS (Sishu Suchana other MIS portals related to children)

b. Support OSCPS, DCPU, CCI and statutory Bodies in rolling out of MIS Software developed to monitor the child protection.

c. Strengthening the State Data Management.

d. Support in development of MIS- Ending child marriage and adolescent empowerment

e. Technical support to Secretariat of Hon'ble Juvenile Justice Committee, High Court of the state in monitoring implementation of Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 in state of Odisha as and when required.

f. Work with DWCD in convergence and coordination with other line departments such as Police/Home Department, Health, Education and other concerned departments to strengthen the CP data management system.

g. Development of quarterly progress report of OSCPS based on the data entered by the districts CP functionaries.

h. Support in development of a MIS on Orphan Census and aftercare care program with the technical resource agency

i. The consultant will work in coordination with the MIS resource agencies engaged in development of CPMIS in the state.

j. The consultant will provide and update information data in national level MIS of ICPS.

7. Consolidated monthly वेतन/ Fellowship: 70,000./- per month

8. Essential Qualifications and अनुभव: Master in Economics /Sociology/ Population Studies/ Psychology/ or related subjects.

9. Desirable Qualifications/ अनुभवs : Working अनुभव of 3 years

10. Accommodation: Bachelor accommodation in the Institute may be provided and campus accommodation may be provided to married students subject to availability.

Selection Procedure

1. Selection Process: Written Test and Personal Interview

2. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short listed based on merit and need of the project. The Shortlisted candidates called for the interview will be intimated by 15th December 2021.

राष्ट्रीय तकनीकी संस्थान, (एन.आई.टी) राउरकेला, उड़ीसा की स्थापना 1960 में की गई थी तथा इसे 26 जून 2002 को राष्‍ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, राउरकेला के रूप में स्तरोन्नत किया गया था। संस्थान में 18 विभाग हैं तथा यह रसायन इंजीनियरिंग, सिविल इंजीनियरिंग, विद्युत इंजीनियरिंग, मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग, धातुकर्मीय इंजीनियरिंग, खनन इंजीनियरिंग, एंप्‍लाइड इलैक्ट्रानिक्स तथा इस्ट्रूमेनटेशन इंजीनियरिंग, कम्प्यूटर साइंस, सिरेमिक इंजीनियरिंग और प्रबंधन, विषयों में अवर स्नातक के पाठयक्रम संचालित करता है। अवर स्नातक स्तर पाठयक्रमों में दाखिला क्षमता 420 है। संस्थान 6 स्नातकोत्तर पाठयक्रम तथा तीन वर्षीय एमसीए भी संचालित करता है। यहाँ पर लड़कों हेतु छह तथा लड़कियों हेतु एक छात्रावास है। राश्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, राउरकेला राष्‍ट्रीय तकनीकी जनशक्ति सूचना केन्द्र, उड़ीसा का नोडल केन्द्र है। संस्थान ने राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान का दर्जा प्राप्त करने के बाद वर्ष 2004-05 में दाखिल छात्रों के लिए प्रथम सेमिस्टर के लिए आईआईटी की तर्ज पर शैक्षिक एवं मूल्यांकन प्रक्रिया को अपनाया है।
