शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): MBA/PGDM
Subject: Engagement of सलाहकार on contract basis in the Mission Directorate-Sports Development, Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports -Reg. Mission Directorate-Sports Development, Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, for and on behalf of the President of India, invites applications for engagement of consultant on contract basis initially for a period of one year extendable annually depending upon performance of the concerned individual.
1. Name of the Post: सलाहकार
2. Qualification/requirements in the case of retired employees of Central/State Govt., or Autonomous Bodies/PSUs: Govt. employees who served in Central/State Govt., or Autonomous Bodies/ PSUs and retired at the Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/- and above but below the Grade Pay of Rs. 10000/- and having at least 10 years of अनुभव in the functional area indicated in para 2 above and sports administration.
3. Qualifications/requirement in the case of engagement from open market: Masters' Degree/MBA in Sports Management or Graduate with MBA ( for candidates from open Market only). At least 10 years' अनुभव for organizing international and national sports events in Executive capacity. अनुभव of working with sports associations in Executive capacity. अनुभव of having work with Government or Non-Government sports bodies with in sports administration.
4. Remuneration: In respect of the retired Central/State Govt. or Autonomous Bodies/PSUs employees a fixed monthly amount will be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement. In respect of the engagement from the Open Market, the remuneration shall be within the range of Rs. 70,000/- to Rs. 90,000/-. The amount of remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of the contract. There will be no annual increment/percentage increase during the contract period.
5. Job Description:
a) Conduct of sports events under the EBSB programme and all related tasks.
b) Coordination with the respective NSFs and other stakeholders for the purpose of organizing the EBSB sports events.
c) Coordination with the Wo Education and other Centre/State Departments and organizations.
d) Ensure timely conduct of the activities approved under the functional areas.
e) Coordination with the various agencies involved in and related to functional areas.
f) To compile all relevant Data related to functional areas and submit monthly reports to the Department of Sports.

Selection Procedure
The final selection will be done by the Selection Committee constituted for this purpose. The decision of the Selection Committee on selection of candidates will be final.

युवा कार्य और खेल मंत्रालय की स्थापना नई दिल्ली में 9 वें एशियाई खेलों के आयोजन के समय 1982 में खेल विभाग के रूप में की गई थी। इसका नाम अंततराष्ट्रीय युवा वर्ष, 1985 के आयोजन के दौरान युवा कार्य और खेल विभाग रखा गया था। यह 27 मई 2000 को एक मंत्रालय बनाया गया। तत्पश्चात मंत्रालय को युवा कार्य विभाग और खेल विभाग नामक 2 विभागों में 30 अप्रैल 2008 को विभाजित किया गया जिनके दो अलग अलग सचिव थे। इन दोनों विभागों द्वारा निर्वाह किए जाने वाले विशिष्ट विषय भारत सरकार के आदेश (कार्य का आबंटन नियम, 1961) में निहित हैं।
