शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): ITI

Engagement of Act Apprentices having Matriculate(in 10+2 system)with ITI (NCVT) passed candidates in मेट्रो रेलवे कोलकाता under the Apprenticeship Act,1961 & Apprenticeship Rules, 1962 for the year 2022-23.

i. Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the candidates fulfilling the following conditions for engagement of 104 numbers of Act apprentices for imparting training only under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and Apprentices Rules,1962.

4. Qualification:-

i. Matriculation (matriculate or class in 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks on average excluding optional/additional subject and having I.T.I. certificate affiliated to NCVT compulsory in relevant trade. Copies of all certificates viz. proof of date of birth, educational/technical qualification Certificate, Caste Certificate, PH certificate,

ii. Ex-serviceman certificate, OBC certificate/Creamy Layer certificate etc. duly attested by a Gazetted Officer of Central or State Govt. and must bear office seal and name of attesting officer should be submitted along with the application.

iii. No extra weight age will be granted to candidates having higher educational qualification. Candidate without ITI (without NCVT) need not apply.

5. Training period: As per directives of RDAT/Kolkata.

6. Stipend: Stipend will be paid as per extant Rules.

Selection Procedure

1. Engagement of Act Apprentices will be done only on the basis of marks obtained in the Matriculation examination or 10th Class in the 10+2 Examination System and minimum marks eligibility shall be kept at 50% in aggregate (Excluding Optional/ Additional Subject) and having ITI pass certificate is compulsory. No extra weightage shall be granted to candidates having higher education.

2. Candidates equal to 1.25 times of the number of slots for ct Apprentices shall be called for verification of original testimonials and their physical fitness.

3. A final merit list will be prepared equal to the number of slot in the descending order of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the Matriculate/10th Class in 10+2 examination system.

4. Candidates finally enlisted should be engaged subject to found fit in appropriate Medical Examination by Railways as applicable. No daily allowance/conveyance allowance or travelling allowance will be paid to the candidate who will be called for verification.

5. No hostel accommodation will be provided and selected candidates will have to make their own arrangement during their training as per Apprentice Act, 1961 and they will be released on completion of the training.

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

1. Application and Call Letter as per the format must be submitted in foolscap paper duly filled in all respect by the candidate in his/her own handwriting with ball point pen and addressed to the Dy. Chief Personnel Officer, Metro Rail Bhavan, 33/1, J.L.Nehru Road, Kolkata- 700071 and send by post or should be dropped in the box kept in PRO Office, Metro Rail Bhavan, Ground floor, 33/1, J.L.Nehru Road, Kolkata- 700071 from 10:00 hrs. to 18:00 hrs. except Saturday, Sunday & Holiday latest by 21/02/2022

2. The Box will be finally withdrawn at 18:00 hrs on 21/02/2022

कोलकाता मेट्रो भारत की प्रथम भूमिगत मेट्रो रेलवे है। यह कोलकाता के व्यस्त उत्तरी-दक्षिणी अक्ष में 27.223 किमी. की लंबाई पर नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस हवाई अड्डा के निकटस्थ नोआपाड़ा से लेकर पाटुली के निकटस्थ कवि सुभाष स्टेशन तक फैली है। मेट्रो रेलवे, कोलकाता का निर्माण 1972 से 2013 तक लगातार किया गया। दमदम से टॉलीगंज (महानायक उत्तम कुमार) तक 16.450 किलोमीटर लंबा प्रथम चरण 1995 में पूरा हुआ और महानायक उत्तम कुमार से कवि नजरुल स्टेशन तक 5.834 किमी. लंबा द्वितीय चरण का कार्य अगस्त 2009 को पूरा हुआ। कवि सुभाष तक 2.851 किमी. लंबा अंतिम चरण पर 8 अक्टूबर, 2010 से वाणिज्यिक सेवा प्रारंभ कर दी गई है। 10 जुलाई, 2013 को दमदम से नोआपाड़ा (2.091 किमी.) तक मेट्रो सेवाओं का पुन: विस्ताीर किया गया।
