शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
i) Master's degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or Institution.
ii) Twelve years अनुभव in chemical analysis of ores and minerals in a laboratory recognized as a Research Laboratory by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research or Department of Science and Technology or any other such government organization carrying out chemical analysis of ores and minerals.

An application containing the bio-data (in triplicate) of the officer who fulfills the above as on the closing date may be sent through proper channel addressed to The Controller of Mines (P&C), 2nd Floor, Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM), Indira Bhawan, Civil Lines, Nagpur - 44OOO1 in the enclosed bio-data proforma (Annexure-I) within 60 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News alongwith the up-to-date Confidential Reports/Dossiers for the preceding 5 years, Integrity Certificate, Vigilance Clearance and No penalty certificate for preceding 10 years of the officer concerned. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained. Also, advance copies of applications or not accompanied with all the above certificates/enclosures are liable to be rejected. भारतीय खान ब्‍यूरो की स्‍थापना 1 मार्च 1948 को हुई थी । प्रारंभ में भारतीय खान ब्‍यूरो शुद्ध रूप से एक परामर्शी निकाय के रूप में कार्य करता था । 1950 में भारतीय खान ब्‍यूरो को कार्य किए गए तथा इसके अनुसार खानों का निरीक्षण् एवं खनिज संभावनाएं इसके नियमित क्रियाकलाप में शामिल हो गए । 1953 तक भारतीय खान ब्‍यूरो को खनिज निक्षेपों के विस्‍तृत गवेषण का अतिरिक्‍त कार्य सौंप दिया गया । लोह अयस्‍क, चूनापत्‍थर, डोलोमाइट, कोयला, ताम्र, टंगस्‍टन भारतीय खान ब्‍यूरो द्वारा गवेषित खनिज थे ।
