शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Assistant Professor: (i) FPM or Ph.D. or equivalent in the discipline, with a first-class or equivalent at the preceding degree, with a very good academic record throughout. (ii) At least 3 years of industrial/research/teaching अनुभव, excluding, however, the अनुभव gained while pursuing FPM/Ph.D.

Associate Professor: (i) FPM or Ph.D. or equivalent in the discipline, with a first-class or equivalent at the preceding degree, with a very good academic record throughout. (ii) A minimum of 6 years of Teaching/Industry/Research अनुभव of which at least 3 years, excluding, however, the अनुभव gained while pursuing FPM/Ph.D., should be at the level of Assistant Professor (Grade 1). (iii) Successful track record of teaching, training, research, and publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals (preferably, listed in ABDC ranking).

Professor: (i) FPM or Ph.D. or equivalent in the discipline, with a first-class or equivalent at the preceding degree, with a very good academic record throughout. (ii) A minimum of 10 years of relevant अनुभव of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs/IISc Bangalore/IIMs/NITIE Mumbai/IISERs (excluding, however, the अनुभव gained while pursuing FPM/Ph.D). (iii) Successful track record of teaching, training, research, and publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals (preferably, journals in ABDC ranking).

The temporary campus of IIM Sirmaur will be at Himachal Institute of Technology, Near Dental College, Rampur Ghat Road, Paonta Sahib, Distt Sirmaur, H.P – 173025. Poanta Sahib is an industrial town in the south of Sirmaur district. National Highway 72 goes through this town. The river Yamuna passes through the town.

IIM Sirmaur is being mentored by one of the top most business schools in India IIM Lucknow. The first batch of Post Graduate Programme in Management at IIM Sirmaur is expected to start from August 2015.
