शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Professor: An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2.

Associate Professor:
i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
ii) A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

Assistant Professor: A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Assistant Librarian: A Master‘s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point –scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

Assistant Director (PE): A Master‘s Degree in Physical Education and Sports or Physical Education or Sports Science with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 45 Years.

Selection Procedure: The process of selection may include a presentation/ written test/ interview only or a combination of any or all. The topic for presentation of maximum 5 minutes duration may be related to the subject concerned and may be chosen by the candidate.

Application Fee: Rs. 1500/- for Unreserved (UR) and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates, Rs. 1000/- for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates, Rs. 750/- for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Comptroller, G. गोविन्द बल्लभ पन्त कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय (पंतनगर विश्वविद्यालय या केवल ‘पंतनगर’) भारत का पहला कृषि विश्वविद्यालय है। इसका उद्घाटन जवाहरलाल नेहरू द्वारा १७ नवंबर, १९६० को उत्तर प्रदेश कृषि विश्वविद्यालय के नाम से किया गया था। वर्ष १९७२ में इसका नाम महान स्वतन्त्रता सेनानी गोविन्द बल्लभ पंत के नाम पर गोविन्द बल्लभ पन्त कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय कर दिया गया। यह विश्वविद्यालय पंतनगर नामक परिसर-कस्बे में पड़ता है जो उत्तराखण्ड के उधमसिंहनगर जिले में है। यह विश्वविद्यालय भारत में हरित क्रांति का अग्रदूत माना जाता है।
