3. Minimum Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on the cut-off date for receiving application that is to say 07.03.2022.
Selection Procedure
1. Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared by taking average of matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] plus ITI (in the trade in which शिक्षुship is to be done) marks
2. The panel will be prepared taking the average of the %age marks obtained by the candidate in both matriculation and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both. e.g., A candidate secured 80.58 % marks in Matriculation examination and 91.68% marks in ITI, then qualifying marks for selection will be ½ [80.58 + 91.68] = 86.13.
3. Shortlisted candidates, thus enlisted, will be called for document/Certificate verification to the extent of 1.5 times of the notified vacancies
4. In case of two candidates having the same marks, the candidates with older age shall be preferred. In case the dates of birth are also the same, then the candidate who passed matriculation examination earlier shall be considered first.
5. A final merit list will be prepared unit wise, trade wise and community wise, equal to the number of slots in the descending order of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate, as stated above.
6. Candidates finally enlisted would be subject to verification of original testimonials and being found fit in appropriate Medical examination by Railways as applicable for the Workshop and for the other Units.
7. During submission of ONLINE application, a Registration number will be issued to each applicant. Candidates are advised to preserve their Registration Number for further stages of recruitment process/correspondence with the RRC
आवेदन करने का तरीका (How to apply)
चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
1. Opening Date of Online Application 08.02.2022
2. Closing Date for submission of Online Application 07.03.2022
3. Candidates are required to apply ONLINE by visiting www.rrcbbs.org.in Detailed instructions for filling up ONLINE applications will be available on the website.
4. Candidates are required to log on to the RRC/ECoR website www. rrcbbs.org.in provided for filling ON LINE applications and fill up the personal details/ BIO- DATA etc carefully.
5. Candidates have to apply for any one Unit only.
6. Candidates trying to submit more than one application with different particulars like Name/Father’s name/Community/Photo(face)/ educational and/or technical qualification etc. or with different Email ID/Mobile Number are advised that all such applications will be summarily rejected
7. Candidates have to keep printouts of their Online application. If found Eligible, he/she will be called for Document Verification and the print out of Online application is required to be produced at the time of Document Verification.
8. The ONLINE application, complete in all respect, can be submitted through ONLINE process to Railway भर्ती Cell (RRC) up to 07.03.2022 till 17.00 hrs. No physical copy of the application is required to be sent to RRC. Even if it is received, no cognizance will be given to it.

भारतीय रेल की एक महत्वपूर्ण रेलवे पूर्व तट रेलवे 1 अप्रैल 2003 से अपने वर्तमान रूप में अस्तित्व में आया। उसी दिन से, यह नया क्षेत्रीय रेल मुख्यालय ओडि़शा राज्य की राजधानी भुवनेश्वर में कार्य कर रहा है। इस रेलवे का भौगलिक क्षेत्र तीन राज्यों में व्याप्त है। इसके कार्यक्षेत्र में ओड़शा के लगभग सभी भाग, पूर्वोत्तर आन्ध्रप्रदेश के श्रीकाकूलम, विजयनगरम एवं विशाखापत्तनम जिले तथा छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के बस्तर और दन्तेवाड़ा जिले शामिल हैं। लंबे तटीय क्षेत्र वाला यह इलाका खनिज एवं प्राकृतिक संसाधनों से परिपूर्ण है तथा औद्योगिक विस्तार की दहलीज पर है।
