शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Senior Environmental Engineer: Master's degree in Engineering in related field, from a recognized University or Institution with ten years' अनुभव in pollution control or related field subject to after acquiring the Master's Degree. relevant field of Engineering is Civil/Environment.

Environmental Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Engineering" in related field, from a recognized University or Institution with eight years' अनुभव in pollution control or related field subject to after acquiring the Bachelor's Degree. or Master's degree in Engineering* in related field, from a recognized University or Institution with six years' अनुभव in pollution control or related field subject to after acquiring the Master's Degree.

Assistant Environmental Engineer: Degree in Engineering @ in related field, from a recognized University or Institution with two years अनुभव in pollution control / related field. or Master's degree in Engineering from a recognized university.

Senior Scientist L-I (Scientist-C): Master's degree in Science and having atleast eight years of अनुभव in pollution control or related subjects.

Scientist-B: Master's degree in Science and having atleast three years' अनुभव in pollution control or related subjects.

Scientific Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in science and अनुभव in laboratory works.

Senior Lab Assistant: please refer to official notification.

Assistant Law Officer:
(i) Possessing Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized University/Institution.
(ii) Four years' अनुभव as Legal practitioner, or four year अनुभव in handling legal work in a Government Department / PSUs/ Autonomous bodies/ Statutory bodies.

Legal Assistant: Degree in Law from a recognized University.

System Analyst: Master's degree in Computer application/Computer Science or M.Tech (with specialization in computer application) or BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology of a recognised university or equivalent.

Programmer: Master's degree in Computer application/Computer Science or M.Tech (with specialization in computer application or BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering /Computer Science/Computer Technology of a recognized university or equivalent.

जल (प्रदूषण की रोकथाम और नियंत्रण) अधिनियम, 1974 की धारा 4 और वायु (प्रदूषण की रोकथाम और नियंत्रण) अधिनियम, 1981 की धारा 6 के तहत केंद्रीय प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड (CPCB) को राज्य प्रदूषण के कार्यों को करने का अधिकार है। सभी केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के लिए नियंत्रण बोर्ड। हालाँकि, जल (प्रदूषण की रोकथाम और नियंत्रण) अधिनियम, 1974 की धारा 4(4) और वायु (प्रदूषण की रोकथाम और नियंत्रण) अधिनियम, 1981 की धारा 6 में प्रावधान है कि CPCB अपनी सभी या किसी भी शक्ति और कार्यों को प्रत्यायोजित कर सकता है। केंद्र सरकार निर्दिष्ट कर सकती है, ऐसे व्यक्ति या व्यक्तियों के शरीर के तहत उक्त अधिनियमों के तहत संघ राज्य क्षेत्र में एक राज्य बोर्ड। सीपीसीबी ने मार्च, 1991 में केंद्र सरकार द्वारा निर्दिष्ट अधिकारियों की एक समिति को केंद्र शासित प्रदेश दिल्ली के संबंध में एक राज्य बोर्ड के रूप में अपनी सभी शक्तियों और कार्यों को सौंप दिया है। इस समिति का पुनर्गठन 14 जून 2002 को अधिसूचना संख्या बी के तहत किया गया है। -12015 / 7/92-एएस।
