1. Nomenclature of the post: Group General Manager (P&S)(Civil)

4. Location and tenure: Delhi, 03 years, extendable upto 5 years as per GOI rules.
5. Scale of pay of the post: Rs. 1,20,000 - 3% -2,80,000 (as per extant Govt. directive, the officer will draw the वेतन of the parent deputation allowance)
6. Qualification/Eligibility criteria: SAG/SG Officer of IRSE cadre who has completed minimum 17 years of Group "A" service will be designated as GGM
7. अनुभव/detailed job description: The Officer will be responsible for Civil Engineering works at various locations involving designing, planning, development and execution of construction works related to setting up of Container Terminals, ICDs, CFSs, PSCTs, Railway Sidings, Warehousing, Pavements and road, etc.
8. Brief Information on Allowance & Perks : Allowances & Perks will be payable as per the entitlement of the officer.

Selection Procedure
Mode Of Selection: The candidate will be screened by a Screening Committee as nominated by the Competent Authority. The candidate's suitability will be decided, keeping in view the job requirement. The selection process would comprise of the judgment of different facets of Professional Ability, अनुभव, skills, comprehension, aptitude, etc on a 100 point scale as under:
1. Professional Ability: 30 marks
2. अनुभव: 20 Marks
3. Seniority: 20 Marks
4. APAR: 30 Marks

भारतीय कंटेनर निगम लिमिटेड (Container Corporation of India Ltd) / कॉनकॉर) भारत का सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र का एक उपक्रम है। इसका गठन कम्पनी अधिनियम के अन्तर्गत मार्च, 1988 में हुआ और इसने भारतीय रेल के उस समय विद्यमान 7 अन्तर्देशीय कंटेनर डिपो को लेकर नवम्बर, 1989 में कार्य करना आरम्भ किया।
इस कम्पनी के गठन का उद्देश्य भारत के अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय एवं आन्तरिक कंटेनरीकृत कार्गो एवं व्यवसाय हेतु बहुविध यातायात संभारतंत्र को बढ़ावा देना था तथा इसका कार्य, यह ध्यान में रखते हुए कि भारतीय रेल के नेटवर्क पर रेल यातायात सुगठित एवं अपेक्षाकृत किफायती विकल्प है, ग्राहकों से सीधे ही सम्पर्क करके ‘द्वार से द्वार तक’ सेवा प्रदान करना था जो कि सड़क यातायात का आधार है।
