कोल इण्डिया लिमिटेड (CIL), a government owned Maharatna Company engaged in mining and marketing of coal invites applications for the engagement of (1) One Media Consultant for a fixed tenure basis for a period of (1) One year at कोल इण्डिया लिमिटेड Headquarters, Kolkata. The eligibility criteria, terms of engagement, pay are mentioned below: 1. Name of the Post: Media Consultant 2. No of Post: 01 3. Eligibility: Candidates stationed at Kolkata and fulfilling the following eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for the post of Media Consultant. a) Educational Qualification: The candidate should be a Post-Graduate Degree holder in any subject from a recognized University. b) अनुभव: (i) The Candidate should have at least 15 (Fifteen) years of cumulative post qualification working अनुभव as a journalist directly employed in a National Newspaper, which is simultaneously published from at least three of the four major cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai. (ii) The candidate should have an अनुभव of at least one-year continuous service as Chief of Bureau, during the last five years, or at least three years continuous service in a position of the senior editor or above, during the last five years, in a National Newspaper, which is simultaneously published from three of the four major cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai. (iii) Preference will be given to candidates with अनुभव in the coverage of the Energy Sector and who has been associated as Adviser or Expert in at least one Central/State Government project. 4. Remuneration: Consolidated monthly amount of Rs. 55,000/- (Rupees Fifty-Five Thousand) Only. No other Allowance or Benefits shall be admissible except TA & DA in case of an official tour. In case, an official tour has to be undertaken for the jobs related to the assignment to CIL subsidiaries or any other place, TA & DA will be applicable to a consultant at par with E-6 Grade Officer of कोल इण्डिया लिमिटेड.

Selection Procedure
1. Candidates who successfully meet the eligibility criteria as specified shall be invited for personal talk and they shall be informed through e-mail regarding the date and time of the personnel talk in advance
2. The selection of the Consultant among the eligible candidates would be by a Selection committee through personnel talk which could be either through virtual mode or personal appearance.
3. In case of personal appearance for the personnel talk no travel allowance would be paid.

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
1. Interested candidates fulfilling the above criteria may submit their application along with following (self-attested) documents:
a) Copies of Educational qualifications
b) Proof of date of Birth & Address (any Govt issued document)
c) Copies of work अनुभव or
d) Reports on energy sector filed/published in News paper
2. These documents along with the application format should reach the office of Chief Manager (Pers)/HOD (EE), CIL, Coal Bhawan, Action Area IA, Newtown, Rajarhat, Kolkata, Pin- 700156, West Bengal latest by 18/02/2022 by 3.00 PM by Registered Post/ Speed Post or through email on [email protected]
3. The applicant should super scribe "Application for the post of "Media Consultant" on the envelope. In case of Application through E-mail "Application for the post of "Media Consultant" should be mentioned in the subject.
4. Following important points may also be noted:
i. Applications received after 18/02/2022, 3.00.PM in of Office / E-Mail of Chief Manager(Pers)/HOD(EE), CIL, Coal Bhawan, Action Area IA, Newtown, Rajarhat, Kolkata, will not be considered and the company will not be responsible for any postal delay/loss in transit in a submission on the application within the specified time.
ii. CIL reserves the right to change/cancel/ restrict/modify/ alter the engagement process, if required, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereof. Any modifications/ amendments, if any, in this notification will be given on the CIL website only.
iii. All correspondence with the candidates shall be made as per his address, given in the application. However, important information will also be available at CIL's website.

सरकार की राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा नीति के तहत भारत की कोयला खानों को 1970 के दशक में दो चरणों में पूर्ण रूप से राष्ट्रीय नियंत्रण में लिया गया । कोकिंग कोयला खान (आपातकाल प्रावधान) अधिनियम 1971 सरकार द्वारा 16 अक्तूबर 1971 को लागू किया गया जिसके तहत, इस्को, टिस्को, और डीवीसी के कैप्टिव खानों के अलावा भारत सरकार ने सभी 226 कोकिंग कोयला खानों का प्रबंधन अपने हाथ में ले लिया और उसे 1 मई, 1972 को राष्ट्रीयकृत कर दिया । 1973 में केन्द्रीय सरकार ने सभी 711 नान-कोकिंग कोयला खानों का प्रबंधन अपने हाथ में ले लिया । नॉन- कोकिंग खानों का प्रबंधन करने के लिए एक सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की कोयला खान प्राधिकरण लिमिटेड (CMAL) नामक कंपनी का गठन किया गया था । दोनों कंपनियों का प्रबंधन करने के लिए कोल इंडिया लिमिटेड के रूप में एक औपचारिक नियंत्रक कंपनी का गठन नवम्बर 1975 में किया गया ।
