शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): 12TH
Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible Sportspersons, who are Indian nationals, for recruitment against Sports quota (Open Advt.) in CLW for the vacancies indicated below:
1. Post Name: Sportspersons

3. Educational Qualification: The minimum education qualification is 12th (10+2) Passed or its equivalent examination. The candidates should possess the further requisite academic qualification, in terms of higher level, for which they are applying on the date of submission of application as given below. Those who are appearing and/or awaiting results of the final examination are not eligible:
a. A university degree or its equivalent & examination. (in case of selection to Clerical category candidate should possess typing skill with 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi). 12th (10+2) or its equivalent examination for NTPC & 10th Pass +ITI for technical category or equivalent (NAC from NCVT) or 12th (10+2) Passed with Physics and math in the higher secondary examination. (in case of selection to Clerical category candidate should possess typing skill with 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi).

Selection Procedure
Selection will be based upon performance in sports Trial and Interview & Certificate produced in support of Educational qualification and sports achievements and finalized by a nominated selection committee. The venue & date for Trials and Interview/Certificate Verification will be intimated to the eligible candidates.
आवेदन करने का तरीका (How to apply)
चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
1. Candidates should send their applications by post to the address mentioned below. Cand dates can drop their applications directly in Drop Box placed at Dy. GM.'s Office/CLW, in the office premises. during the office hours Postal Address: Principal Chief Personnel Office, GM's Building/CLW P.O-Chittaranjan, Distt.- Paschim Burdwan, Pin- 713331(W.8)
2. Fill up the application in the prescribed format at on good quality A-4 size white paper after carefully reading the employment notice. (i)All columns of application should be filed up by the candidate in his her own handwriting in English/Hindi using a blue-black ballpoint pen.
2. Applicant should write in his her own handwriting, the sample declaration statement in the space provided in the application form. Applications without the written declaration will be rejected. (N) Applicant should Paste one recent passport size color photograph (not earlier than three months) on the space provided in the application form. ) Applicant legible Xerox copies (self-attested) of all certificates in proof of Sports Achievements, Educational Qualification, Age, SCIST/OBC etc.
3. Candidates should enclose the application fee mentioned above without fail as explained at Para-5 atb PvE. Applications without application fees will be rejected Candidate should clearly indicate the specific category No. Sports Discipline

उत्पादन गतिविधि दिन जब भारत गणतंत्र बने 26 जनवरी, 1950 को शुरू कर दिया. चितरंजन लोकोमोटिव वर्क्स के प्रारंभिक उत्पाद भाप लोकोमोटिव था. अवधि में 1950-1972 चितरंजन लोकोमोटिव वर्क्स 2351 भाप इंजनों की कुल संख्या कर दिया. 1968-1993 तक सीएलडब्ल्यू 842 डीजल इंजनों का उत्पादन किया और 1961 से विभिन्न प्रकार के इलेक्ट्रिक इंजनों का uptill 31-3-13 कुल 4916 उत्पादन किया .
