Located in the heart of New Delhi, it houses an impressive library and documentation centre. The Centre attracts scholars, students, activists, and others from India and abroad who draw on its resources and varied expertise. In 1985, the CWDS was recognised as one of the research institutes supported by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
