शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): Candidates Should have At least a Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, chemical, biomedical or other life-sciences (an advanced degree is preferred). At least 5 Years of अनुभव working with in-house or outside patent counsel to manage the patenting process; Registered Patent agents will have an advantage.

Ability to draft and prosecute patent applications
अनुभव in conducting searches of chemical and sequence databases
Proficient with Patent docketing software, word processing and spreadsheet software.
Demonstrated ability to use patent and other complex databases including USPTO’s PAIR / Esp@ce and other proprietary databases.
Knowledge of Patent analytics and technology mapping desirable.
