Skills / Eligibility
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Project Assistants (Two Positions) to work on the DBT funded project (BT/PR3487/AGII/103/1179/2019) "Development of herbicides against Acetyl CoA Carboxylase to address resistance and cross-resistance against Phalaris minor: A weed of wheat crop field" under the supervision of Dr. Durg Vijay Singh, Dept of Bioinformatics, SEBES Central University of South Bihar. 1. Post Name: Project Assistant 2. No. of Post: 02 3. Required Skills: a. The Project Assistant will do the routine molecular modelling, simulation, drug discovery work, and whole plant assay b. The Project Assistant will do the chemical synthesis of designed molecules. 4. Essential Qualification/ Consolidated Emoluments: B.Sc. / 3 years Diploma in Engineering and technology ₹ 20,000/ and 8% HRA 5. Desirable Qualification: For Project Assistant 1: Candidates having a degree in M.Sc. Bioinformatics / Computational Biology or M.Sc. in Science with expertise in molecular modelling simulation and Drug Discovery with working अनुभव and expertise in Molecular Dynamics Simulation, Molecular Modelling, and Drug Discovery. 6. For Project Assistant 2: Candidate having a degree in M.Sc. Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry with expertise in organic synthesis and derivatives of small molecules. 7. Duration of Project: 3 Years (Purely Temporary)

Selection Procedure
1. The selection will be made on the basis of the interview. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
2. Merely fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee the interview call and selection.
