Advertisement for the post of Sports Person in Central Railway. Candidates are advised to read the details, and eligibility criteria mentioned below for this vacancy. शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
For Level-5/4: Minimum Graduation in any faculty from a recognized University
For Level-3/2: Matriculation, 12th (+2 stage), Matriculation from recognized Board plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.
For Level-1: 10th Pass or ITI or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. For More Details Refer Notification..

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): 18-25 Years Candidates born between 01-01-1999 and 01-01-2006 (both days inclusive) should only apply. Candidates born on or before 31-12-1998 are not eligible. Similarly, candidates born on or after 02-01-2006 are also not eligible.

Selection Procedure: please refer to official notification.

Application Fee:
For All Candidates: Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five Hundred Only), with a provision of refunding Rs 400/- (Rs Four Hundred Only).
For candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex Servicemen/ Persons with Disability/ Women/ Minorities & EBC: Rs. 250/- (Rs. Two Hundred Fifty Only).

Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway is an organization created after issue of letter no. E(NG)II/96/RR-1/62 dated 18.07.2005 by Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), New Delhi. The letter delegates powers to General Managers of Indian Railways for open market recruitments in Pay Band 1 + Grade Pay 1800/- (erstwhile Group ‘D’ posts). Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway performs the task of such recruitment on behalf of the General Manager, East Central Railway.

Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway is headed by Chairman who is assisted by one Assistant Personnel Officer (RRC) and 19 non-gazetted staff.

The Cell caters to fill up open market vacancies (in Pay Band 1 + Grade Pay1800/-) of Dhanbad, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Danapur, Sonpur and Samastipur Divisions of East Central Railway, Workshop/Samastipur and Plant Depot/Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay of East Central Railway as well as extra divisional units in the territorial jurisdictions of East Central Railway.
