शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Non ITI: 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks. Candidate should have passed the prescribed qualification before the date of issue of notification.

ITI: 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, from recognized Board and also must passed ITI in the relevant trades. Candidate should have passed the prescribed qualification before the date of issue of notification.

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): 15-22 Years.

Selection Procedure: please refer to official notification.

Rs.100/-. Candidates have to registered and make online payment till 16:45 hrs of date 25th November 2023.
No fee is required for SC/ ST/ PH and woman candidate.
Except SC/ ST/ PWD/ Female, if the candidates have not submitted the application fee, the application will be rejected.

बनारस रेल इंजन कारखाना (अंग्रेज़ी:Banaras Locomotive Works), (पूर्व नाम: डीजल रेल इंजन कारखाना) वाराणसी में स्थापित भारतीय रेल का रेल इंजन निर्माण का कारखाना है। अगस्त 1961 में डीजल-विद्युत रेल इंजन निर्माण हेतु एल्को-अमेरिका के सहयोग से "डीजल रेल इंजन कारखाने" की स्थापना हुई। जनवरी 1964 में प्रथम रेल इंजन का निर्माण कर राष्ट को समर्पित किया गया। जनवरी 1976 निर्यात बाजार में प्रवेश हुआ और प्रथम रेल इंजन तंजानिया को निर्यात किया गया। इसके बाद दिसम्बर 1977 में प्रथम डीजल जनित सेट का कमीशन किया गया। अक्टूबर 1995 में अत्याधुनिक माइक्रोप्रोसेसर नियंत्रित, एसी-एसी डीजल इलेक्टिक रेल इंजनों के निर्माण हेतु जनरल माटर्स, अमेरिका के साथ समझौते किया गया। इसके बाद फरवरी 1997 में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मानकीकरण संगठन (आई.एस.ओ) ९००२ प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त किया। मार्च 2001 में आई एस ओ 14001 प्रमाण पत्र मिला।
