शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Section Officer/Tribunal Officer: (i) Degree of a recognized University; and (ii) Having 2 years अनुभव in personnel, administrative or judicial work. Desirable: Degree in Law.

Assistant: (i) Possess Degree from a recognized University, and (ii) have 2 years अनुभव in establishment, administration, or Accounts.

Library & Information Assistant (Junior Librarian): (i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent (ii) Degree or equivalent Diploma in Library Science from a recognized University or Institute. (iii) Two years अनुभव in a responsible capacity in a Library of standing.

Stenographer: (i) Possession of 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. (ii) A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on a computer and knowledge of Computer operation. For more details, please refer to the official notification.

The application(s) in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I) of the eligible officers/officials, who can be spared for deputation in the event of their selection may be forwarded by the Department to The Registrar, Armed Forces Tribunal, 3 Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Marg, PO- Dilkusha, Lucknow Cantt-226 002 along with 'No Objection Certificate'. While forwarding the application, a vigilance clearance certificate and a certificate to the effect that no disciplinary action/inquiry is pending or contemplated against the officer/official concerned shall also be furnished. The Armed Forces Tribunal Act 2007, was passed by the Parliament and led to the formation of AFT with the power provided for the adjudication or trial by Armed Forces Tribunal of disputes and complaints with respect to commission, appointments, enrolments and conditions of service in respect of persons subject to the Army Act, 1950, The Navy Act, 1957 and the Air Force Act, 1950.It can further provide for appeals arising out of orders, findings or sentences of courts- martial held under the said Acts and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
