शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Security Officer: Degree from a recognized university/ equivalent.

Assistant Security Officer: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

Assistant Fire & Safety Officer: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. following Physical Standards:
a. Height: 170 cms. Minimum (Realxable by 5 cms. Only for residents of hill areas).
b. Chest: 81 cms. (85 cms. After expansion) (Relaxable by 5 cms. Only for residents of hill areas).
c. Should possess sound health free from defect/ deformity/disease.
d. Vision in both eyes should be 6/12 (without glasses).

Assistant Administrative Officer: Degree from recognized University or its equivalent. Desirable:
1. MBA PG diploma in management from recognized Institutes.
2. Knowledge of Government Rules and Regulations.
3. Proficiency in Computers.

Junior Administrative Officer:
1. Degree of recognized University or equivalent.
2. Proficiency in computers.

Assistant Engineer (Civil): Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with 5 years अनुभव in design and engineering of civil projects, preferably in a Hospital environment..

Junior Engineer (Civil): Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. Desirable: 2 years' अनुभव in design and engineering of civil projects, preferably in a Hospital Environment. Or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute With 5 years' अनुभव in design and engineering of civil projects, preferably, in a Hospital Environment.

Assistant Engineer (Electrical): Graduate in Electrical Engineering variation in the grade. from a recognized University / Institute with 5 years अनुभव in design engineering; of civil projects, preferably in a Hospital environment.

Junior Engineer (Electrical): Graduate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute variation. Desirable: 2 years' अनुभव in repair and maintenance of electrical systems, preferably in a Hospital Environment. Or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute With 5 years' अनुभव in repair and maintenance of electrical systems, preferably in a Hospital Environment.

Assistant Engineer (AC & R):

Junior Engineer (AC & R): Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical. Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute. Desirable: 2 years’ अनुभव in repair and maintenance of large scale Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems. Or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with 5 year’s अनुभव in repair and maintenance of large-scale Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 35 Years.

अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान, भुवनेश्वर प्रधानमंत्री स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा योजना (पीएमएसएसवाई) के तहत भारत सरकार के स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय द्वारा स्थापित शीर्ष स्वास्थ्य देखभाल संस्थानों में से एक है । इस योजना के तहत पटना, रायपुर, भोपाल, भुवनेश्वर, जयपुर और ऋषिकेश में छह नए अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थानों की स्थापना की गई जो एम्स,नई दिल्ली पर आधारित हैं ।

15 अगस्त, 2003 को अपने स्वतंत्रता दिवस सम्बोधन में तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी ने प्रधानमंत्री स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा योजना (पीएमएसएसवाई) के तहत पटना, रायपुर, भोपाल, भुवनेश्वर, जयपुर और ऋषिकेश में 6 एम्स अस्पतालों के शुरुआत की घोषणा की जिसका उद्देश्य देश के इन क्षेत्रों में सुपर स्पेशलिटी विषयों में गुणवत्ता चिकित्सा शिक्षा प्रदान करने के अलावा सेवा विहीन क्षेत्रों में चिकित्सा सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करना है ।

भुवनेश्वर में इस संस्थान की आधार शिला 15 जुलाई, 2003 को प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी द्वारा रखी गई थी । अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान, भुवनेश्वर को ऑल इंडिया इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल साइंसेज (संशोधन) अध्यादेश 16 जुलाई, 2012 को पारित स्वायत्त संस्थान और राष्ट्रीय महत्व के संस्थान के रूप में स्थापित किया गया था ।
