4. Pay: Pay Level- 24( Rs. 1,28,900 /- -2,01,000/-) As Per Wbs Ropa Rules,2019. Total Minimum Emoluments Rs.1,45,267/

6. Essential: A Bachelor’s degree with 1 st class or 60% marks or B+ in the aggregate or a post graduate degree in any branch of Engineering/Technology or equivalent qualifications, from a recognised University/Institute.12(twelve) years’ अनुभव in Teaching /Research/ Administration/Industry including 5(five) years’ अनुभव in Teaching/Research in an institution of University standard. 2(two) years’ अनुभव in Administration of Technical Education in responsible post or posts.

7. Desirable: A Doctorate degree in any branch of Engineering/Technology.A degree or diploma in Management Science. Knowledge of Bengali, spoken and written, Membership of a professional organization in the field of Engineering/Technology.

Selection Procedure

1. In case the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and it is not conveniently possible for the Commission to interview all the applicants, the Commission may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of either higher qualifications/ higher marks/grade obtained in the essential qualifications or अनुभव in relevant field higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement or on the basis of a Preliminary Screening Test (P.S.T )

2. In The Cases Of Screening Test, Candidates Suffering From Blindness Or Low Vision And Locomotor Disability Or Cerebral Palsy With Writing Extremity Will Be Allowed The Help Of A Scribe, If Required. The Scribe Should Not Possess Educational Qualification Higher Than The Requisite Qualification For The Post.

3. Commission has fixed 50% of total marks in interview as qualifying marks and candidates unable to secure such qualifying marks would not be considered for the post, irrespective of their academic qualification and/ or marks obtained in P.S.T.
