1. Post Name: वरिष्ठ परियोजना सहयोगी - Re-advertisement (NPSA6)

2. Locations: Khambhalia, India

3. Duties and Responsibilities

a. Liaison and Network with various stake holders of Khambhalia Municipality and 15 Villages, both government and nongovernment, in coordination with Service Provider (SP). Support in proper systems are put in place to ensure collection of all dry waste 1-2 MTs in first 6 months per day and later augmented to collection of all plastics and dry waste to 3-4 MTs through the SP.

b. Organize Capacity building related to project activities in coordination with SP, particularly oversight the book-keeping; accounts and the business model approach. Initiate the required trainings at the SP level and related stakeholders.

c. Establish processes and systems for effective implementation of M & E strategies as per the M & E framework developed under the project;

d. Review monitoring reports in terms of problems and actions needed as well as for impact evaluation and to support in identifying the causes of potential bottlenecks in project implementation;

e. Keeps a tab, understanding and support in accessing and sharing the technology led information with a range of stakeholders on all the waste incoming, managed and recycled.

f. Facilitate as an important Team member at state level, in setting up a dynamic monitoring and evaluation systems for monthly monitoring and reporting of project;

g. Facilitate through SP, enterprise development by creating women self-help group to empower women.

h. Coordinate between UNDP CO, Field staff, implementing partner, ULB, DRDA and other Govt and Non-Govt stakeholders to facilitate project implementation in the respective cities & 15 villages.

i. Act as a focal point in the city for UNDP.

4. Education: Minimum High School degree in related area would be essential Bachelor’s degree in related area would be desirable

5. अनुभव: 

a. A minimum of 6 years of अनुभव (3 years for candidates with Bachelors degree) in working with communities and with minimum 1 year in Waste Management, preferably plastic waste management.

b. Good analytical, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills on the impacts from project. Good command of Resources Based management tools.

c. Understanding of solid waste management sector अनुभव in planning tools and applications Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive constructive attitude; 

d. Demonstrates openness to change and ability to manage complexities; Ability to prioritize assignments and requirements, and multitask as needed; bility to work independently with limited supervision 

e. Ability to integrate technology into various aspects of the project for planning, rollout and monitoring Report writing, presentation drafting

6. Language requirement : Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Hindi is essential. Regional language specific to the zone (Gujrati) would be advantageous
