Skills / Eligibility

The Directorate of Education. U.T Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu under Teacher Education Component of 'Samagra Shiksha', a Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) of Ministry of Education, invites applications from the eligible candidates to engage 04 व्याख्याताs purely on Contract Basis for 'District Institute of Education & Training (DIET)' at Daman. The details are as follows:

Position: व्याख्याता (DRU for AE/NFE) (01 - Post)

1. वेतन: Rs. 45,000/- per month.

2. Eligibility:

(i) Master's degree in Humanities/Social Science/Sciences;

(ii) PG/Degree/Diploma in Adult Education (AE)Non Formal Education (NFE) or Social Work (MSW) or Community Development or Rural Development or Women's Studies or Communication or Journalism OR Degree in Teacher with specialization in Adult Education (AE)/Non Formal Education

(iii) 2 years' अनुभव in extension/management of Women's Development/Adult Education (AE)/Social Non Formal Education (NFE) programmes/ Social Work/Rural Development/providing technical resource support to such programmes.

3. Desirable: Possess adequate knowledge of English/ Gujarati/ Marathi/ Hindi.

Position: व्याख्याता (Curriculum Material Development & Evaluation) (01 - Posts)

1. वेतन: Rs. 45,000/- per month.

2. Eligibility:

(i) Master's degree in Humanities/Social Science/ Sciences;

(ii) M.Ed. with spccialization in Curriculum or Evaluation; OR

(iii) Master degree in Child Psychology/Child Development or Education;

(iv) Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Distance Education (preferably Elementary Teacher Education); OR

(v) Ph.D. in Child Psychology/Child Development/Curriculum/ Educational Measurement/Evaluation;

(vi) At least 3 years' अनुभव of: Teaching in a school/ Teacher Education Institute (TEI) preferably Elementary School or Elementary Teacher Education Institute (ETEI); OR Work in Curriculum Development/Preparation of Text Books/ Educational Testing and Evaluation preferably in Elementary Education;

3. Desirable: Possess adequate knowledge of English/ Gujarati/ Marathi/ Hindi

Position: व्याख्याता (Planning and Management) (01 - Posts)

1. वेतन: Rs. 45,000/- per month.

2. Eligibility:

(i) Master's Degree in Economics/ Statistics/ Public Administration;

(ii) M.Ed. with one subject as Educational Planning/ Administration; OR M.A. (Edn.) specialization in Education Planning & Administration; OR Master's Degree in Econotnics/ Statisties/ Publie Administration/ Education;

(iii) 2 years' अनुभव in Schools/ TEIs/ Educational Planning and Administration level

(iv) 2 years' अनुभव in Planning/Administration preferably in: (a) State/ District/ Block Level Planning; (b) Planning Social Service Sector;

3. Desirable: Possess adequate knowledge of English/ Gujarati/ Marathi/ Hindi

Position: व्याख्याता (Educational Technology) (01 - Posts)

1. वेतन: Rs. 45,000/- per month.

2. Eligibility:

(i) Degree in Humanities/ Social Science/ Sciences;

(ii) M.Ed. with specialization in Educational Technology /AV Education; OR

(iii) Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Teacher Education with Educational Technology AV Education as one of the paper & successful completion of a training course on Educational Technology/AV Education of not less than 6 weeks' duration; OR

(iv) Degree/Diploma in Communication/Mass Communication/ Commercial Art/ Films & TV Programmes/Drama/Engineerin

3. Desirable:

(i) At least 2 years' अनुभव of teaching in a school preferably Elementary School;

(ii) अनुभव in development of training in use of educational aids in a TEI/ET Cell/SlEB/SCERT/SRC, etc.: (a) Possess adequate knowledge of English/ Gujarati/ Marathi/ Hindi

1. Application in the prescribed format (enclosed herewith) dully signed & Scanned along with copy of relevant documents should reach to the Office of the State Project Director (SS)/Director of Education by email ([email protected]), but not later than 12th January 2022 05:00 P.M

2. List of Eligible and Ineligible candidates will be published on official website i.e. on www.daman.nic.in.

3. The engagement will be purely on contractual basis.
