Subject: Inviting application for the post of Deputy Director General (JS equivalent) in Pay Matrix Level 14 on deputation (Foreign Service term basis) at भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआईडीएआई) (UIDAI) Technology Centre, Bengaluru. UIDAI invites appl ications for filling up one anticipated vacancy (may vary at the time of selection) for the post of Deputy Director General (JS equivalent) in Pay Matrix Level 14 (Pay Band Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200) on deputation basis on Foreign Service terms, at Aadhaar Complex, NTI Layout, Tata Nagar, Kodigehalli, Technology Centre. Bengaluru- 560092 from amongst suitable and eligible officers as per the following requirements:
1. Name of the Post: Deputy Director General (JS equivalent)
2. Pay: Pay Matrix Level 14 (Pay Band Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200)
3. Eligibility: Officers from the Central Government holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR Officers with four years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level 13 or above 2 OR Officers from State/ UT Government/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Organization holding regular post in corresponding grades with requisite अनुभव;
4. Desirable अनुभव:
a) Four year degree in Engineering and Technology preferably in computer science, in formation technology, or electronics or Master degree in computer applications from an institution recognised by Government agencies.
b) अनुभव in larger scale ICT projects and/or other technical projects in the field of software development, data base management, networking etc.
c) अनुभव is Big Data, DevOps automation, Micro services architecture, Cloud and understanding of new technology domains like Al/ML, Block chain technologies, Computer vision etc.
5. Period and other terms and conditions of deputation:
a) The period of deputation shall be of five years. The lending department may relieve an officer for a lesser period as per their own policy/rules, which should not be less than three years in any case
. b) The general terms and conditions of services at UIDAI will be governed as per भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआईडीएआई) (Appointment of Officers and employees) Regulations, 2020 and भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआईडीएआई) (वेतन, Allowances and other Terms & Conditions of Service of Employees) Regulations, 2020 and guidelines of the Central Government in this regard.
c) The terms of deputation, including the pay and allowances, except leave shall be governed by the provisions laid down in the Department of Personnel& Training Office Memorandum No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay II) dated 17 June 2010 and other orders/guidelines issued in this regard from time to time. Leave of an officer on deputation shall be regulated by leave 3.3 rule of UIDAI.

The applications in the prescribed format should reach to the Assistant Director General (HR), भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआईडीएआई) (UIDA), Bangla Sahib Road, Behind Kali Mandir, Gole Market, New Delhi-110001 on or before the last date of receipt of the application. The last date for receipt of applications is 02.05.2022. Application may also be sent through mail on email id: [email protected] Applications received after the last date shall not be entertained. Candidates who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently.

भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआईडीएआई) एक सांविधिक प्राधिकरण है , जिसकी स्थापना भारत सरकार द्वारा आधार(वित्तीय और अन्य सब्सिडी, लाभ और सेवाओं के लक्षित वितरण) अधिनियम, 2016 (“आधार अधिनियम, 2016”) के प्रावधानों के अंतर्गत, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय (एमईआईटीवाई) के तहत् दिनांक 12 जुलाई, 2016 को की गई।
एक सांविधिक प्राधिकरण के रूप में अपनी स्थापना से पूर्व यूआईडीएआई तत्कालीन योजना आयोग (अब नीति आयोग) राजपत्र अधिसूचना संख्या ए-43011/02/2009-एडमिन-1 दिनांक 28 जनवरी, 2009 के तहत् इसके एक सम्बद्ध कार्यालय के रूप में कार्य कर रहा था। बाद में सरकार द्वारा सरकारी कार्य आवंटन नियमों में संशोधन करके 12 सितम्बर, 2015 को यूआईडीएआई को तत्कालीन सूचना और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग (डीईआईटीवाई) के साथ सम्बद़ध कर दिया गया।
