शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): Recent graduates in B.A Social Sciences/Development Studies/Social Work, with the following skills /training with 5 years अनुभव or M.A Social Sciences/Development Studies/Development Practice/Development Management/Rural Development/Gender Studies/Tribal Studies. Have worked with Tribal communities in Jharkhand. Having language proficiency in Hindi would be an added advantage. Excellent documentation, presentation, and writing skills in analysis, and use of computer applications like the use of excel, Atlas ti, etc., are required.

टाटा समाजिक विज्ञान संस्थान भारत का एक प्रमुख सामाजिक विज्ञान संस्थान है। यह मुंबई के अन्दर देवनार में स्थित है। टाटा समाज विज्ञान संस्थान 1936 में स्थापित किया गया था, तब इसे ‘सर दोराबजी टाटा सामाजिक कार्य स्नातक स्कूल’ के नाम से जाना जाता था। भारत में सामाजिक कार्य का पहला स्कूल, टीआईएसएस शैक्षिक उत्कृष्टता के माध्यम से समाज कल्याण के उद्देश्य के साथ एक अग्रणी प्रयास था, जो कि सर दोराबजी टाटा ट्रस्ट की एक विशेषता थी। 1944 मे सर दोराबजी टाटा सामाजिक कार्य स्नातक स्कूल का नाम बदलकर टाटा समाज विज्ञान संस्थान कर दिया गया। वर्ष 1964 में संस्थान को विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (यूजीसी) भारत के द्वारा एक विश्वविद्यालय के रूप में मान्यता दी गई। इस संसथान की चार शाखाएं हैं – मुम्बई, हैदराबाद, तुल्झापुर और गुवाहाटी। वर्ष 1936 में अपनी स्थापना के बाद से ही यह संस्थान सामाजिक विज्ञान, मानव विकास, लोक नीति तथा अर्थनीति के क्षेत्र में भारत के अग्रणी संस्थानों में से एक रहा है।
