Vacancy for the Post of परामर्शदाता (Part Time) - Mumbai 1. Name of Post: परामर्शदाता (Part Time) 2. Advertisement Number: Tiss-Sukoon/2021-22/March-01 3. No. of Posts: 01 4. Remuneration: 1,32,000 – 1,56,000 per annum 5. Qualifications: a. The candidate should have completed M.A. in Counselling/Clinical Psychology along with a minimum 2 years’ अनुभव of working as a परामर्शदाता. b. Preference will be given to those candidates who have additional qualifications such as having completed specialized courses in Couples and Family Therapy or demonstrating direct अनुभव of working as a couples/family therapist c. Preference will also be given to candidates who have an अनुभव of working in legal settings. The candidate should have proficiency in English, Hindi and Marathi. 6. Job Responsibilities: i. This position will entail working with individuals and couples who are currently undergoing matrimonial disputes at courts in Mumbai. The परामर्शदाता will provide individual, couples and family counselling and also be responsible for documentation of the work. ii. The counsellor will be required to travel across different courts in Mumbai. iii. The counsellor will also be responsible for conducting group counselling and/or workshops for the key stakeholders of the court system iv. The job also entails liaising with the respective Court officials such as Marriage परामर्शदाताs and Judges for referrals. v. Documentation of the work conducted at these centres in the form of reports is expected 7. Duration: The appointment for the post is for 1 year which can be renewed in the following year. The counsellor (part-time) will work for 2 full days at the Courts. Additionally, the counsellor may also be required to travel to TISS for meetings and training as scheduled.

टाटा समाजिक विज्ञान संस्थान भारत का एक प्रमुख सामाजिक विज्ञान संस्थान है। यह मुंबई के अन्दर देवनार में स्थित है। टाटा समाज विज्ञान संस्थान 1936 में स्थापित किया गया था, तब इसे ‘सर दोराबजी टाटा सामाजिक कार्य स्नातक स्कूल’ के नाम से जाना जाता था। भारत में सामाजिक कार्य का पहला स्कूल, टीआईएसएस शैक्षिक उत्कृष्टता के माध्यम से समाज कल्याण के उद्देश्य के साथ एक अग्रणी प्रयास था, जो कि सर दोराबजी टाटा ट्रस्ट की एक विशेषता थी। 1944 मे सर दोराबजी टाटा सामाजिक कार्य स्नातक स्कूल का नाम बदलकर टाटा समाज विज्ञान संस्थान कर दिया गया। वर्ष 1964 में संस्थान को विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (यूजीसी) भारत के द्वारा एक विश्वविद्यालय के रूप में मान्यता दी गई। इस संसथान की चार शाखाएं हैं – मुम्बई, हैदराबाद, तुल्झापुर और गुवाहाटी। वर्ष 1936 में अपनी स्थापना के बाद से ही यह संस्थान सामाजिक विज्ञान, मानव विकास, लोक नीति तथा अर्थनीति के क्षेत्र में भारत के अग्रणी संस्थानों में से एक रहा है।
