Applications are invited for the following temporary positions as 'Project Staff' appointment on a tenural contract basis at the Office for International Affairs, टाटा सामाजिक विज्ञान संस्थान, मुंबई, Mumbai. The Office for International Affairs (OIA) is looking for applicants who are highly motivated, hard-working, multi-tasking, pro-active, creative and competent professionals to handle important roles that facilitate strategic international linkages and collaborations between TISS and different foreign universities/ institutions.
1. Name of the Post: Programme Manager – (Incoming Mobility)

3. Eligibility:
a) The Programme Manager (Incoming Mobility) should have a Masters’ degree in Social Work/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ International Relations/ Public Relations/ Management Studies/ MBA/ Hospitality Management/ Travel and Tourism with minimum 2 years of relevant work अनुभव involving coordination/ consultancy/ training/ teaching/ research or similar academic and administrative profile and अनुभव.
b) Interested individuals should demonstrate high proficiency in communication; oral and written skills; computer application/ data management; good interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various stakeholders - students, faculty members, staff at all levels.
4. Key Responsibilities:
a) The Programme Manager (Incoming Mobility) will handle the full-term and short-term international students/ staff and faculty registered with TISS. He/ she will be responsible for the complete international admission process through facilitating admissions to full-time degree and diploma programmes (across TISS campuses and centres).
b) The Programme Manager (Incoming Mobility) will also manage the shortterm incoming international students/ staff and faculty who visit TISS as part of the regular/ independent exchange programmes such as coursework/ fieldwork/ research affiliation and others. The manager will be responsible for managing the complete programme of the incoming international student/ staff and faculty at TISS.
c) He/ she will help OIA in management of administration of affiliated international students/ staff and faculty; documentation of regular activities; advising international groups on immigration, accommodation and other logistical support, and actively participate in coordination and management of overall administration of the Office for International Affairs.
5. The tenural appointment is for 3 years and with a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 45, 000/- per month. The selected candidate shall be entitled to health insurance. The appointed candidates will be paid an annual increment @ 5% of the remuneration every year.

टाटा समाजिक विज्ञान संस्थान भारत का एक प्रमुख सामाजिक विज्ञान संस्थान है। यह मुंबई के अन्दर देवनार में स्थित है। टाटा समाज विज्ञान संस्थान 1936 में स्थापित किया गया था, तब इसे ‘सर दोराबजी टाटा सामाजिक कार्य स्नातक स्कूल’ के नाम से जाना जाता था। भारत में सामाजिक कार्य का पहला स्कूल, टीआईएसएस शैक्षिक उत्कृष्टता के माध्यम से समाज कल्याण के उद्देश्य के साथ एक अग्रणी प्रयास था, जो कि सर दोराबजी टाटा ट्रस्ट की एक विशेषता थी। 1944 मे सर दोराबजी टाटा सामाजिक कार्य स्नातक स्कूल का नाम बदलकर टाटा समाज विज्ञान संस्थान कर दिया गया। वर्ष 1964 में संस्थान को विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (यूजीसी) भारत के द्वारा एक विश्वविद्यालय के रूप में मान्यता दी गई। इस संसथान की चार शाखाएं हैं – मुम्बई, हैदराबाद, तुल्झापुर और गुवाहाटी। वर्ष 1936 में अपनी स्थापना के बाद से ही यह संस्थान सामाजिक विज्ञान, मानव विकास, लोक नीति तथा अर्थनीति के क्षेत्र में भारत के अग्रणी संस्थानों में से एक रहा है।
