It is proposed to fill up one position of "वरिष्ठ अनुसंधान साथी"on contractual basis under the NASF Project entitled "Development of white grub(Holotrichia Serata) resistance in Sugarcane and groundnut by deploying novel cry toxin holotype genes" under the National Agricultural Science Fund(NASF) by walk-in-written test-cum-lnterview at ICAR-गन्ना प्रजनन संस्थान, Coimbatore-7 (Tamilnadu) on 28.01.2022 at 9.00 AM.

4. Qualification:

i. Post graduation(M.Sc/M. Tech) in Life Sciences from recognized university with 4 years/5 years of bachelor's degree and 2 years master's degree having NET/GATE/Equivalent qualification; (or) Masters degree in life/basic science (Plant Molecular Biology Genetics / Plant Molecular Biology /

ii. Plant sciences / Bioinformatics [Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Botany) with 3 years bachelors and 2 years masters degree having NET/GATE/Equivalent qualification.

5. Desirable: Two years research अनुभव in protein expression ånd purification, insect rearing, bioassay.

6. Emoluments Rs.31000 per month

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

1. The written test cum interview for the above position will be conducted through in- person at ICAR -SBI, Coimbatore on 28.01.2022 at 9.00 AM.

2. The candidate selected for written test should brinq 'RT-PCR' test report on 26.01.2022 (test taken not earlier than 72 hrs) [proof of 2nd Dose Covid-19 vaccine taken and produce at the time of certificate verification.

3. The candidates should bring bio-data (in prescribed proforma) entire original certificates from SSLC onwards, one set of photocopies of certificates(self attested), अनुभव certificate and latest passport size photograph at the time of written test for verification. Candidates those who fail to submit original certificates for verification will not be allowed for written test
