शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): LLB
SIDBI invites application from interested candidates for various posts on Contractual basis as detailed below:
1. Name of the Post: Legal Counsel (Mortgages/Securities)
2. Type of the Post: Contractual on full time basis.
3. No. of Posts: 01
4. Place of Posting: Mumbai
5. Scope of Work: The Legal Counsel of the Bank will be responsible for the following:
a) Supervision of pan India business operations related to creation, management & enforcement of interest/charge on securities including mortgages in favor of Bank.
b) Rendering legal opinion on creation and enforcement of interest/charge on securities including mortgages and other properties related matters specific to BFSI sector.
c) Devising, Standardizing and reviewing the mortgage policy & legal documentation of the Bank to keep it in line with the current / updated legal practices including prevailing State/Regional/Local Stamp Act or Security / Charge registration Acts/procedures across India.
d) Supervising / attending the various Court proceedings in security enforcement cases under SARFAESI/DRT/DRAT and also handling matters under Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 before National Company Law Tribunal as well as arbitration proceedings either directly or through advocates.
e) Supervising the Sale/Disposal of assets charged to the Bank pertaining to recovery of loan defaults.
f) Providing legal advice on policy issues, support and guidance on any legal matters as desired by SIDBI.
g) Any other related matter assigned by SIDBI.
6. Educational Qualification: Degree in law (3 years/ 5 years) from a recognized university in India.
7. अनुभव:
(i) Minimum 15 years of work अनुभव, which may be in a Commercial Bank / FI OR other reputed Corporate/ Organizations / Government Bodies OR
(ii) Practicing Advocate having minimum 15 years of अनुभव including अनुभव in extending legal opinion on matters as described at Sl. No. E above OR combined अनुभव in as indicated in (i) and (ii).
(ii) Preference shall be given to candidates having active Bar license to practice AND/OR having expertise in SARFAESI/DRT/DRAT & Asset Disposal.
8. Remuneration: The renumeration would be at market linked compensation. The same shall not be a limiting factor for the right candidate and will be mutually decided on case to case basis.

Selection Procedure
1. SelectionwouldbebywayofshortlistingandPersonalInterviewtobe held onlineonasuitabledate(tobeinformedinduecourse)beforethe Selection Committee. The Bank will undertake a preliminary screening of the applications for preparing, if necessary, to prepare a shortlist of eligible candidates to be called for interview. Thus, merely fulfilling the requirements laid down in the advertisement would not automatically entitle any candidate to be calledforinterview. Thedecisionofthe bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in thisregard.
2. Merit List: Merit list forselection will be prepared in descending order on the basis ofscores obtained ininterview only.Incasemore than one candidate score the cut-offmarks(common marks at cut-off point),such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit.
3. Wait List: SIDBI reserves the right to draw wait lists of candidates in different Grades and considersuch waitlisted candidate(s)formeeting actual requirement.
आवेदन करने का तरीका (How to apply)
चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
i. Duly filled in application (in English or Hindi), as per the format available on the Bank’s website with a recent passport size photograph pasted thereon and Curriculum Vitae, bearing full signature of the candidate across the same with date, should be sent / forwarded only through email at [email protected] on or before January 28, 2022. While forwarding the respective applications, the subject line shall clearly indicate the following details only, viz. “Application for the post of Post Code, Name of the Post, Candidate Name.”
ii. Applications should be accompanied by self-attested copies of relevant certificate(s) / documents, in support of proof of identity, address, age, educational qualification (educational certificates/mark -sheets), work अनुभव, caste certificate, PwBD Certificate etc, as mentionedin theapplicationform.
iii. An applicationnot accompaniedby photocopies/scanned copies(in cases of applied online) of relevant certificate(s) / documents, or not in prescribedformat or notsignedby the candidate orincompletein any respect or received after due date will not be entertained under any circumstances.
iv. Handwritten Applications/ or Curriculum Vitae shall besummarily rejected.
v. The candidates who had already applied / shortlisted / selected / waitlisted need not to apply again.

सिडबी की स्थापना 2 अप्रैल 1990 को हुई। इसकी स्थापना संबंधी अधिकार-पत्र भारतीय लघु उद्योग विकास बैंक अधिनियम, 1989 में सिडबी की परिकल्पना लघु उद्योग क्षेत्र के उद्योगों के संवर्द्धन, वित्तपोषण और विकास और लघु उद्योग क्षेत्र के उद्योगों को संवर्द्धन व वित्तपोषण अथवा विकास में लगी संस्थाओं के कार्यों में समन्वय करने और इसके लिए प्रासंगिक मामलों के लिए प्रमुख वित्तीय संस्था के रूप में की गई है। दि बैंकर, लंदन की हालिया रैंकिंग में सिडबी ने विश्व के 30 सर्वोच्च विकास बैंकों में अपनी जगह बनाए रखी। दि बैंकर, लंदन के मई 2001 अंक के अनुसार पूँजी व आस्तियों की दृष्टि से सिडबी का स्थान 25वाँ था।
