3. Roles and Responsibilities

a. Proficient in HTML/CSS, XML; knowledge of SQL and JavaScript is preferred In charge of publishing content, maintaining continuity of themes, designing layout, streamlining navigation and increasing online presence to potential customers.

b. Plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade the University's website. Work closely with Communication & Digital lead. Coordinate with various department SPOCs to manage their page on the main website.

c. Working knowledge of website management tools like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal Knowledge of web analytics and SEO Proven अनुभव as a Webmaster or Web Developer Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities

d. Manage the online webinar tools like Zoom, 10times, GoToWebinar etc Manage the webinars for various department. Implementing and ensuring website security and data protection. Optimize loading speeds and capacity

e. Debug pages and fix broken links or images Monitor and analyze site performance Keep up-to-date with the industry best practice and monitor competitor websites

4. Desired Candidate Profile

a. Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript and Drupal Knowledge of Google web Analytics Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization Strong communication skills and excellent command over English

b. Creativity and High level of Attention to Detail Subject Expert on Content Planning, Creation and Dissemination Understanding of social media and digital landscape and metric Passion for writing Should be metrics driven

Shiv Nadar University (or SNU) is a private interdisciplinary research university founded in 2011 in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh in India. It was founded as part of a series of initiatives launched by the Shiv Nadar Foundation, a private philanthropic foundation funded by Shiv Nadar, founder and chairman of HCL. The University’s stated aim is “to create an enduring, research-led, inter-disciplinary university.”. The University was established by the Act no. 12 of 2011 of State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh as a State Private University, and was empowered by the UGC to award degrees under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. The University started the Engineering Majors in the Academic Year 2011-12 with the approval of the AICTE. The University is currently registered with DSIR, Government of India as a Research Institution.
