शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): Any Graduate, Any Masters Degree
Applications are invited for the following vacancies in SCI on deputation basis.
1. Name of the Post: उप महाप्रबंधक
2. Pay Scale and Compensation: E7 1,00,000 - 2,60,000
3. Period of deputation: Period of deputation will be for 3 years and extendable as per guidelines if required.
4. Educational Qualification:
a) Graduate degree and having अनुभव in procurement of goods and services through contracts, GEM etc
b) Marine Superintendents – Master (FG) Certificate. अनुभव of LNG/SVC is desirable.
5. अनुभव Required(post qualification): The minimum अनुभव required for GM is 21 years and DGM is 17 years and the Officer should be holding a post in the same grade in Central Govt/State Govt./Statutory or Autonomous Bodies/PSUs/PSBs/ Shipyards/ Ports/DGS/MMD. OR Holding post in next below level i.e. E7 (1,00,000-2,60,000) for GM posts and E6 (90,000-2,40,000) for DGM posts with 3 years regular service in the required grade. अनुभव should be in relevant fields.
6. Job Profile:
a) Ensure timely supply of safety stores, charts & publications, contractual general stores, non-contractual stores, and resolve goods receipt & payment issues. Ensure that timely supply of general stores and Safety Stores is being made by the respective indent officers.
i) Carry out regular review of status of supply of paints, lubes, general stores and safety stores. Ensure that verification of Indents/SAP PRs and floating of tender for non-contract items is being done effectively and due process/procedure is followed. Responsible for evaluation of quotations and their approval and subsequently release of Purchase Orders to the lowest bidder. Attend CSMC and divisional SRC meetings and take corrective action with respect to issues pertaining supply of stores.
ii) To facilitate IMS as well as ISM/DOC audit of P&S Department and handle audit queries.
b) To ensure sustained growth with appropriate strategies and policies. Initiate Business arrangements, new segments of business, monitor periodical feedback received from charterers, develop customer contact with Domestic/International customers, develop policies and strategy plans. Efficient ship management of fleet of gas carriers, LNG & LPG. Compliance of technical, commercial and financial rules and regulations. Compliance of statutory audits and Board meetings of the LNG companies, Conventions/Rules & Regulations/Shipping Acts, Company’s Safety Management and Quality etc.

Selection Procedure
Mode of Selection will be Interviews only. The selected candidates will be posted in Mumbai or any of the Regional offices. They can be posted or transferred anywhere in India depending on requirement of the Organization. Selected candidates will have to make their own arrangements for accommodation. Company accommodation may be provided based on availability.

भारतीय नौवहन निगम लिमिटेड (एससीआई) की स्थापना दिनांक 2 अक्तूबर 1961 को ईस्टर्न शिपिंग कॉर्पोरेशन तथा वेस्टर्न शिपिंग कॉर्पोरेशन का समामेलन कर हुई थी। केवल 19 जहाजों को लेकर एक लाइनर शिपिंग कंपनी की शुरुआत हुई थी और आज एससीआई के पास कुल 4.6 मिलियन डीडब्ल्यूटी के 83 जहाज हैं. एससीआई का शिपिंग व्यापार में 10 विविध खंडों में भी व्यापार फैला हुआ है. गत चार दशकों की यात्रा करने के बाद एससीआई ने विश्व के समुद्री नक्शे पर एक महत्वपूर्ण स्थान बना लिया है। देश की एक प्रमुख कंपनी होने के नाते एससीआई, स्वामित्ववाले और भाड़े पर जहाज परिचालित करती हैं, जो भारतीय टनेज का लगभग 35 हिस्सा है, और व्यावहारिक तौर पर नौवहन व्यापार के सभी क्षेत्रों में अपना कारोबार करती है जो राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर फैला हुआ है।
