शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): LLB, CS
SCI invites applications from Indian nationals fulfilling the following eligibility criteria.
1. Post Name: कंपनी सचिव
2. Number of Vacancies: 01
3. Qualification Required: Qualified कंपनी सचिव having Associate/Fellow membership of the ICSI Institute. Preference to candidates having LLB degree and/or PSU background
4. अनुभव Required (Post Qualification & Membership): Candidates should have at least 12 years of अनुभव w.r.t. to Company Secretarial functions of which at least 3 years should be with a listed companies till 01.01.2022.
5. Date of Reckoning Eligibility Criteria: The cut-off date for determining eligibility criteria in respect of post qualification inline अनुभव and age shall be 01.01.2022 and will remain unchanged irrespective of any reason whatsoever.
6. Contract tenure:
The contract shall be for a period of two years from date of engagement, with a provision for 2 extensions of 6 months each. It is desirable that candidate would join immediately however, a maximum of two weeks’ time will be given for joining.
7. Emoluments: A consolidated monthly emolument of Rs 1,75,000/- will be paid. No other perks/benefits/ allowances shall be applicable. Income tax will be deducted as per rules.
8. Posting: The posting is in Mumbai. However, the company at its discretion may depute the Officer at any of its offices/projects anywhere in India as per its requirement
9. Accommodation: No company accommodation shall be provided.

Selection Procedure
1. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria for Educational Qualification, Age, अनुभव and any other criteria as mentioned.
2. In case of large number of eligible applications, candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:25 i.e. 25 candidates will be called for the Interview.
3. The short listing will be based on higher अनुभव.
4. The Interviews will be conducted at Shipping House, Nariman Point, Mumbai or through video conferencing depending upon the prevailing situation at the time of Interview.
5. The schedule will be notified on the Corporation’s website.
6. The Company reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies as per the need or cancel the advertisement itself without any notification.
आवेदन करने का तरीका (How to apply)
चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
1. Interested candidates should directly apply through the link provided on the Corporations website www.shipindia.com - Career - Shore- Requirement of कंपनी सचिव on contract (Advt No. 16/2021) and send their updated resume (pdf only) and required documents (pdf only) via email on [email protected] with subject as “Application for कंपनी सचिव on contract (Advt No. 16/2021)”. Candidates are also required to attach the following documents along with their resumes in pdf format only.
i. Graduation Degree Certificate (If applicable)
ii. CS Completion Certificates /Membership certificate
iii. Work अनुभव certificates for the years as mentioned in application form (Post Qualification & Membership).
iv. Date of Birth proof like Aadhar card/Pan card/Voter/Birth Certificate etc.
2. Applications will not be considered in case the online application form is not filled and the abovementioned documents are not submitted as per the data filled in application form during the application period.
3. The above documents also need to be uploaded while filling the online form. The total size of all attachments should not exceed 10 MB. In case of failure of emails or uploading of documents, SCI will not be responsible. Application/Documents received after the last date of application will not be considered.

भारतीय नौवहन निगम लिमिटेड (एससीआई) की स्थापना दिनांक 2 अक्तूबर 1961 को ईस्टर्न शिपिंग कॉर्पोरेशन तथा वेस्टर्न शिपिंग कॉर्पोरेशन का समामेलन कर हुई थी। केवल 19 जहाजों को लेकर एक लाइनर शिपिंग कंपनी की शुरुआत हुई थी और आज एससीआई के पास कुल 4.6 मिलियन डीडब्ल्यूटी के 83 जहाज हैं. एससीआई का शिपिंग व्यापार में 10 विविध खंडों में भी व्यापार फैला हुआ है. गत चार दशकों की यात्रा करने के बाद एससीआई ने विश्व के समुद्री नक्शे पर एक महत्वपूर्ण स्थान बना लिया है। देश की एक प्रमुख कंपनी होने के नाते एससीआई, स्वामित्ववाले और भाड़े पर जहाज परिचालित करती हैं, जो भारतीय टनेज का लगभग 35 हिस्सा है, और व्यावहारिक तौर पर नौवहन व्यापार के सभी क्षेत्रों में अपना कारोबार करती है जो राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर फैला हुआ है।
