Skills / Eligibility

One post of Field Helper/ Field Assistant at the fixed वेतन of Rs. 9,755/- per month is to be filled up on contractual basis in the scheme “Pyramiding of genes contributing to the resistance to Brown Plant Hopper (Biotype 4) in rice CSS-12 (PC-6307)”

Subject: Filling up the post of Field Helper/Field Assistant @ Rs. 9,755/- p.m fixed.

1. Position: Field Helper / Field Assistant

2. No of Post: 01

3. Qualification: 10+2 with Punjabi upto Metric level with four years अनुभव as Field/Lab. Coordinator/Junior Helper OR Matric with Punjabi with eight years अनुभव as Field/Lab. Coordinator/Junior Helper

4. Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates who are already assisting in the conduct of field experiments or handling of samples for Laboratory analysis

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

1. The desirous candidate fulfilling the above criteria should send their applications in application form (Form is available in PAU web site on (www.pau.edu). alongwith attested copies of proof and a bank draft for Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana to this office before 05.05.2022 and appear before the selection committee for the verification of documents on 11.05.2022 at 11:00 a.m in the office of the undersigned.

2. No separate letter for interview will be issued.

3. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview.

4. No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.

पंजाब कृषि विश्वविद्यालय (Punjab Agricultural University – PAU) की स्थापना 1962 में की गयी थी। 1966 में हरयाणा बनाने के बाद, इस यूनिवर्सिटी के विभाजन होकर हरयाणा कृषि विश्वविद्यालय और हिमाचल प्रदेश कृषि विश्वविद्यालय बनाया गया १९७० में। वर्तमान समय में PAU में 31 डिपार्टमेंट्स हैं जो 31 मास्टर्स और 30 पीएचडी डिग्री प्रधान करती हैं। The PAU has well equipped laboratories, library and lecture rooms and elaborate farm facilities. Hostel accommodation is available in the university hostels for single students.
