शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Reader: 1. Five years Degrees in Ayurveda from a University established by law, or Five years degrees from the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh, or any other State Board or Faculty which is registrable under the United Provinces Indian Medicine Act, 1939. 2. Seven years of Teaching अनुभव of the Subject (Five years for a Post-Graduate) in a recognized Institution. 3. Working knowledge of Hindi, English, and Sanskrit.

Principal: MD/MS or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India (ii) At least 10 years of Teaching अनुभव as professor/ Associate Professor in a recognized Medical College/Institution out of which at least five years should be as a professor in a department.

(i) Unreserved/Economically Weaker Sections/other Backward Classes - Application fee Rs. 80/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 105/-.
(ii) Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes - Application fee Rs. 40/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 65/-
(iii) Handicapped - Application fee NIL/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 25/-
(iv) Ex-Servicemen - Application fee Rs. 40/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 65/-
(v) Dependents of the Freedom Fighters/ Women - According to their original category.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/walkin interview. Once a candidate is selected they will be placed as Reader, प्रधान अध्यापक in UPPSC.
