Skills / Eligibility
Applications are invited for the said positions under E-YUVA, पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय चंडीगढ़, Chandigarh. The candidates will be appointed initially for 1 year or till the tenure of the project, whichever is earlier. However, the posts can be extended on the basis of evaluation after completion of the tenure, if the project is extended. The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. There shall be no financial liability on the part of the University, after the termination of the project. The incumbent shall have no claim whatsoever for the regularization of his/her services. 1. Position : Coordinator or Manager 2. Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in any subject of life sciences or M.Sc.-MBA or M. Sc. in any subject of life sciences with minimum 5 years of अनुभव. Preference will be given to candidates having relevant अनुभव in project handling and/or entrepreneurship development programs with Knowledge of Technology Transfer. Knowledge of GeM portal. Candidates having granted/filed patents. 3. Desirable qualifications: E-tendering of instrument purchases. Maintaining the upkeep of the E-YUVA Centre. An overall understanding of the process of bio-incubation. Enhancing the visibility of the Centre. Handling of scientific equipment and interpretation of results. Facilitating scientific liaison between E-YUVA fellows/ innovators, mentors & industry. Hand holding the E-YUVA fellows/ innovators. Helping the budding entrepreneurs in developing proposals for raising funds. 4. Emoluments: - Rs. 75,000/- (fixed) per month) 1. Position : Project Assistant 2. Essential Qualifications: M.Sc./ M. Tech. in any subject of Life Sciences such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Microbial Biotechnology, Biophysics or any other related area. Preference will be given to candidates with 3 years of अनुभव in individual project handling, scientific report writing and hands on अनुभव on bioinstrumentation 3. Desirable qualifications: Individual project handling. Scientific report writing. Undertaking scientific and technical tasks. Helping E-YUVA fellows/ innovators and scientific staff in their projects 4. Emoluments: - Rs. 25,000/- (fixed) per month) 1. Position : Office Assistant 2. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor of Science/ Technology / Engineering / Arts. Preference will be given to candidates having Proficiency in MS Office. Good typing skills. Proficiency in English (both spoken and written). 3. Desirable qualifications: Handling official documents, Purchase related documentation. Performing day to day entries on word/ excel. Website maintenance 4. Emoluments: - Rs. 15,000/- (fixed) per month)

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
1. All the applicants (who are eligible as per UGC/PU norms are advised to bring their original certificates and other relevant documents including publications(with photo copies of certificates and 02 passport photographs) for verification alongwith duly filled forms giving the details at the time of interview.No TADA will be paid for attending the interview.
