शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.Phil/Ph.D

Walk in interview for appointing two (02) अतिथि संकाय (Assistant Professor) to teach Even Semester of the academic year 2021-2022, for a period of (February 2022 to June, 2022), will be held on Feb 24, 2022 at 11:30 am. in Committee Room of the department.

3. Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Human Genomics/Human Genetics/Biochemistry/Genetics/Life Sciences or allied subject with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in appoint scale wherever grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. A relaxation of 5% shall be provided for the candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled/Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Noncreamy Layer)/Ph.D. Degree holders, who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19 September, 1991

4. Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. in Human Genomics/Human Genetics/Biochemistry/Genetics/Life Sciences or allied subject.

5. Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or candidate who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with regulation of the University Grants Commission. Provided further, candidate registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:-

a) Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only.

b) Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners.

c) An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate had been conducted.

d) Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least

one must be in a refereed journal.

e) Candidate has made at least two presentations in conference/seminars, based on his/her

Ph.D. work. (a) to (e) as above are to be certified by the Registrar/Dean (Academic Affairs).
