शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Superintending Medical Officer: MS (Orthopaedics) from a reputed Medical College /University recognized by Medical Council of India / DNB (Orthopaedics) conducted by National Board of Examinations.
Superintending Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering of minimum 4 years duration with minimum 65% marks OR Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering of minimum 4 years duration with Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering of minimum 2 years duration with minimum 60% marks OR Master’s degree in Environmental Science of minimum 2 years duration with minimum 60% marks.
Senior Officer: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering of minimum 4 years duration with minimum 65% marks (Excluding Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electrical & Communication Engineering/ Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering etc.) For more details, please refer to official notification.

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 45 Years.

ऑयल इंडिया लिमिटेड (ऑयल) को वर्ष 1889 में सुदूर पूर्वोत्तर में दिग्बोई, असम में कच्चे तेल की खोज से लेकर अनेक महत्वपूर्ण पड़ाव पार करते हुए ऑयल इंडिया लिमिटेड अपने वर्तमान स्वरूप में पहुंचा है । पूर्वोत्तर भारत में नाहरकटिया और मोरान के नए खोजे गए तेल क्षेत्रों का विस्तार और विकास करने के लिए 18 फरवरी , 1959 को ऑयल इंडिया प्राइवेट लिमिटेड की स्थापना की गई । वर्ष 1961 में यह भारत सरकार और बर्मा ऑयल कंपनी लिमिटेड , यू.के. का संयुक्त उद्यम बना । वर्तमान में ऑयल कच्चा तेल और प्राकृतिक गैस के अन्वेषण , विकास और उत्पादन , कच्चा तेल के परिवहन एवं एलपीजी के उत्पादन के व्यवसाय में लगी भारत की प्रमुख राष्ट्रीय तेल कंपनी है । इसके अतिरिक्त कंपनी की अन्वेषण गतिविधियां गंगा घाटी और महानदी के ऑनसोर क्षेत्रों में भी फैली हुई है । महानदी ऑफसोर , मुबंई डीपवाटर ,कृष्णा – गोदावरी डीपवाटर इत्यादि के एन ई एल पी अन्वेषण ब्लॉकों तथा लीबिया , गेबान , अमेरिका , नाइजीरिया और सूडान में विभिन्न परियोजनाओं में भी ऑयल की हिस्सेदारी है ।
